This was written by artificial intelligence

Not some digital app on a cell phone

Rather, the AI between my ears

Conjured up from nowhere

Save having given it a working title

Like almost all of my posts

My muse presents me with a topic

Usually gleaned from the radio

Then, the process begins

Pulling words up from storage

That has no filing system

Certainly not in alphabetical order

Making vague sense in context

From random rambling content

Which would explain my small audience

That sees through my

Artificial intelligence

Figuring no human

Could write such nonsense




Though more to the point

Where this was heading

Is that now Congress

Has another easy distraction

In the pretending to do

Something about nothing department

Because it is exciting and

Everyone has a useless opinion

Legislating artificial intelligence

Over artificial intelligence

When instead, they could make sure

Everyone is fed, housed, and healthy

Curbing also the penile projectile problem

Making mass shootings

A daily occurrence

Plus, leaving reproductive rights alone

Or how to dress or bathroom to use

Which appendages to cut or add

But then that would require

Real intelligence
