The Drug LED
That many are addicted to is
When you live in a VR world
Then you put on a VR headset
While distracting, it is still designed
To show the user how much better
The original VR / PR (perceived reality)
Is, and is as “real” as it gets
To have conversations worth having
Actual human inner interactions
With other bipedal earthling artists
Not yet quite fully deprogrammed
From their original divine programming
Hard wired in to their soft ware
“Welcome my son
Welcome to the machine
Where have you been?
It’s alright we know where you’ve been
//
Welcome my son
Welcome to the machine
What did you dream?
It’s alright we told you what to dream”
Pink Floyd
“Welcome To The Machine”
“The problem’s plain to see:
Too much technology
Machines to save our lives.
Machines dehumanize.”
Styx
“Mr. Roboto”
But only…….if we let them
“The people will not revolt. They will not look up from their screens long enough to notice what is happening.”
– George Orwell “1984”
Lest of course we start here
“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask.
There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first”
Jim Morrison
“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”
“Or a newer “head” set.”
– Angelo Devlin
