According To The Bible

The trouble is

“According to the Bible”



Gives people lots of latitude

To hate and kill

A lot of other people

Which is quite a lot

When at times

It is touted as a source

To seek guidance

On how to live

Behave and treat others

Skipping over the part

Where its Master of Wisdom

Better known by his

Superhero name, Jesus

Advocates that his followers

Learn to forgive and seek

To turn the other cheek

As blessed are the meek

But why do that when

It’s easier to attack

And blame it all

On his “dad”





“Father, forgive them;
