The Veiled Threats
Beyond certain inevitable death
Manifest without substance
As invisible bogeymen that pose
At best, a temporary inconvenience
By people who will never be affected
Either directly or indirectly at all
Still feel unconsciously compelled
To reveal their unsubstantiated fears
That some shoeless migrant
Traveling in a rickety caravan
Hundreds and hundreds miles away
Seeking a better life for their family
Compels someone behind a keyboard
To regurgitate what their blind leader sees
As a scary unsubstantiated distraction
For people to coalesce into thick anger
Triggered constantly by 2 minutes of hate
By wiggling their limp finger
At something the right wing media
In an unconscious echo chamber
Uses for a dominant deception
Of scapegoating their happiness
Instead of, onto solvable profitable solutions
By using the capitalism, they swear by and
Getting the immigrants the jobs they can get
To buy the shoes they need and food to feed
With the minimal education of gross greed
Helping a family undergoing such hardships
(Which methinks, is something *Christ might do)
They are willing to leave the home they know
Guided by the light of liberty and freedom
To do what the border closers’ ancestors did
Move to the alleged “United States”, because
Where they were, was in a bad situation such as
Simply as having no potatoes to eat or who were
“Suffering” from religious persecution
The persecution they now concentrate on “others”
Ooopsie
How does that first amendment go?
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
*
Their other leader they tend to forget because
Compassion, forgiveness, charity, and kindness
Are so “first” century, without internet truths
Who posed no threat, veiled, or otherwise
“I do not wish to be right
Only wish to be understood”
