Beliefs And Opinions
Ought to at least occasionally
Be paired with one another
Otherwise one without the other
Does not really have a leg to stand on
Starting out with talking heads
Broadcast, cable, and podcasts
So one could understand why
They are opining the way they are
Usually, on the take to their focused
Perspective driving their dialog
Rachel Maddow supports the LGBTQ +
Because she identifies with that group
Tucker Carlson is in opposition of them
Probably due to some latent tendency
He is afraid to recognize therefore wants
To quell it in others to suppress it in himself
(I don’t know. I am merely editorializing)
Although, in fairness, I am not sure
If I could explain my growing belief
Which, for a while now, is always
All ways, being uncovered and discovered
(Years, actually, if one digs deep in this blog)
Like a divine archeologist searching
Questioning, digging, categorizing
Labeling, comparing, researching, testing
First, with shovels and pickaxes, then
Trowels, spoons, knives, brooms & brushes
Finer and finer so as not to disturb the sacred
For a constant, consistent universal truth
That not only works for me, but maybe
May be understood universally by others
Given enough linear time to sink in
As I, too, have not just accepted it
Overnight because I was told it is so
If a belief can be easily explained
It is not a belief, per se
It is a shared indoctrination
For example, if a person says: “I believe in God,”
It may be somewhat universal but completely vague
Especially when that gets questioned
Such as
“The sword of God, the blood of the lamb, vengeance is mine, millions of dead motherfuckers, all because they gave the wrong answer to the God question.
‘You believe in God?’
‘No.’
*BANG* Dead.
‘You believe in God?’
‘Yes.’
‘You believe in “MY” God?’
‘No.’
*Bang* Dead.
‘My God has a bigger dick than your God!’
That’s how it is, isn’t it?
Thousands of years, and all the best wars too, the bloodiest, most brutal wars fought all based on religious hatred, which is fine with me.
Anytime a bunch of holy people want to kill each other, I’m a happy guy.”
– George Carlin
Hopefully the following makes sense and is understandable
Knowing no one has to accept it as their own *
Plus, this belief, ought not get anyone killed
Here goes, after exhaustive research and discovery
God is the Word, all words
This even has Biblical backing
“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:1
The Word already existed. Like water, always existing
No beginning, it was always there, right from
Before the “beginning” which could easily be
The “Higgs” ocean known as the God Particle
“In the beginning God (/Word) created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God (/Word) was hovering over the waters.”
Genesis 1 1-2
All words, every word, every thought, moment, space, time
Spacetime, molecules, truths, lies, religion, evil, love, war
Peace, gender, sex, mountain, valley, temperature, cold, hot
Sun, earth, galaxies, oceans, black holes, worm holes
Science, proof, hate, abundance, starvation, pain, silence
Chaos, politics, politicians, parties, football, distractions
Spirit, spirit of God, water, beginning, end, middle, stop, go
Prequel, sequel, music, lyrics, movies, Hollywood, actors
Extras, cut, karma, justice, Justices, court, TV, radio, waves
Medicine, health care, smoking, food, animals, pets, wild
Domesticated, edible, inedible, intelligent, loyal, on display
Drugs, rehabilitation, addiction, help, recovery, wagons
Caravans, immigrants, borders, natural, drawn, moved, walls
Penetrated, impenetrable, illegal, acceptable, foreign
Language, dialects, accents, regional, translation
Supreme, doubt, convincing, conniving, and questioning
Methinks, even an atheist could believe in the “Word(s)”
After all, an atheist’s existence and anti-belief depend on it
There are thoughtless words but no wordless thoughts
Therefore, the God/Word always all ways exist always
If you do find a thought less word, know then,
You are divinely connected to the source of all Words
Where all words are happening all at once
Word/s are like atoms. They make up everything, yet
Always changing sharing and sacrificing electrons
Protons, neutrons, quarks, while always existing
My holy book to back up this bizarre belief is the dictionary
(Even, meaningless, which should be blank, has a definition)
Yet any dictionary will do, and depending on the
Lexicographer or group who last edited the new version
To include new words, modify existing ones to
Ever shifting social usages, contractions, hyphens
Not to mention, if there were no printed editions
The word would continue on infinitely as it already has
For deep inside each individual, God/Words are understood
After all, God’s words are malleable and fluid as water
Freezing, boiling, steaming, evaporating, falling, flooding
All used to make stories and make up stories
(Like that one about the Ark with two of each species
On board to be saved from the flood, as the reader forgets
That “animals like to eat other animals” – Joe Rogan)
(There would be a few left, after forty days, let alone Noah)
To enhance each subjective perspective for each individual’s Experience in this and subsequent lifetimes**, challenging each Incarnate to live, love, laugh, accept, understand themselves
Therefore, our selves as we all continue to know “God” / “Word”
* If it becomes acceptable, then we will
Inevitably, form a group, then eventually a religion
Start to wear similar hats, find people who
Have no hats or different ones, then try and
Force them to wear our hats so we’ll accept them
“You ever notice that? Any time you see two groups of people who really hate each other, chances are good they’re wearing different kind of hats. Keep an eye on that. It might be important.”
– George Carlin
** lifetimes are like words. Their usage expires only to be
Remanifested later in a better version for clearer understanding
“The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use them.”
― Philip K. Dick
“I never wish to be right,
Only to be understood,
If you have questioned
Your beliefs. Then maybe
I have done some good. “
– Angelo Devlin
