I Suspect

The puppeteer is

Just as amused with

The pulling of strings

Directing the outcome of

Lifelike limber puppets

Putting words in the mouths

Like an invisible ventriloquist

As the audiences are

Mindlessly entertained

With the distractions of

Daring and devious dialog

To enrapture the crowds

In theater-in-the-rectangle

Engrossed in pixelated screens

In gross and grotesque scenarios

Of lying, name calling, and baiting

Rooting for their side as

The heroes and villains

Are interchangeable

Depending on how each

Division defines their deity

Unfortunately, even on

The most base level we

Understand what is

Going on in the show……
