Tablet Tales

April 20, 2017

How will the future historians be able to write or rewrite the instantaneous revisionist history moment we are living in right now?

Without having a perpetual gut laugh long enough to hold their fingers steady at a keyboard?

I suspect it will be the digitized version of what “Winston Smith” did at “The Ministry of Truth”.

While POTUS  (Pummeler Of Truth Undermining Society)was relaxing on his 99th golf outing, nearly as many as times as days he’s been in office, said the Health care program would be great and in place soon.

Screen goes blank, reappears as……….

Making good on his “promise” to work and not golf, POTUS signed the bill authorizing the “great”, not only free, but get paid to stay healthy health care bill.

Screen goes blank.

In a disturbing falsehood on the second day of the 45th Presidency, regarding the smattering of people who showed up for the inauguration. POTUS apologized.

Screen goes blank, reappears as……..

On the inauguration of the 45th president everybody was there, the entire planet showed up in Washington DC to honor POTUS.

Screen goes blank.

Displaying childlike and impish behavior,  with thumbs in his ears, fingers flailing, tongue out spewing spittle raspberries. POTUS repeated nya nya na na nya.  I rigged the election with the help of my creditors, and I’m not going to, nor did I ever say I was going to release my taxes, so “F” off.

Screen goes blank, reappears as ………..

In an all too common gesture of generosity,  after releasing every tax return to the public, POTUS decided to use his refund to wipe out the nation’s debt.  Parades performed perpetually.

Screen goes blank.

After realizing that the failed unpaid for wall was not going to work, finding out that it can be gotten, over, under, and around.  POTUS decided to move ahead with the Great Continental Dome.

Screen goes blank, reappears as……..

At the reprehensible disgust with the horseshit, bullshit, batshit lies that POTUS tells, all “illegal” immigrants have packed their bags, and their families and moved back to where they came from.

Hoping that when they are truly ready to respect and share what cannot be “owned” they may return.

Apologizing as they left to the true ones entrusted with the land in the first place.

The indigenous cultures and first peoples said they were glad to have it back, even though it will take aeons of time to clean up. Figuring that dismantling the shopping malls will take the longest.

Unfortunate “timely” lyrics.

“A Farewell To Kings”

When they turn the pages of history
When these days have passed long ago
Will they read of us with sadness
For the seeds that we let grow?
We turned our gaze
From the castles in the distance
Eyes cast down
On the path of least resistance

Cities full of hatred, fear and lies
Withered hearts and cruel, tormented eyes
Scheming demons dressed in kingly guise
Beating down the multitude and
Scoffing at the wise

The hypocrites are slandering
The sacred Halls of Truth
Ancient nobles showering
Their bitterness on youth
Can’t we find the minds that made us strong?
Can’t we learn to feel what’s right
And what’s wrong?
What’s wrong?

Cities full of hatred, fear and lies
Withered hearts and cruel, tormented eyes
Scheming demons dressed in kingly guise
Beating down the multitude and
Scoffing at the wise
Can’t we raise our eyes and make a start?
Can’t we find the minds to lead us
Closer to the heart?

Instill and install meritocracy now.

Rush

“Closer To The Heart”

And the men who hold high places
Must be the ones who start
To mold a new reality
Closer to the heart
Closer to the heart
The blacksmith and the artist
Reflect it in their art
They forge their creativity
Closer to the heart
Closer to the heart

Philosophers and ploughmen
Each must know his part
To sow a new mentality
Closer to the heart
Closer to the heart
You can be the captain
I will draw the chart
Sailing into destiny
Closer to the heart
