The Next President

March 24, 2018

As long as we are willing to elect someone with absolutely no political experience, let us elect a ship captain.

Someone who knows how to navigate rough waters. Who is in charge of many departments through delegation, by qualified people who want to be doing what they are doing.

Thereby making sure the ship is well maintained. Every one is fed, if they are sick or get sea sick, they are medically attended to, with no additional expense as it is included in the ticket price.

Knows there is no need for weapons to defend or attack as all the other ships, crews and passengers are all floating around on the same sphere on the same waters trying to have a good time and relax.

Be able to communicate well with other ports for permission to dock, resupply necessities, giving plenty of time to visit and absorb the interesting cultures, the different sites, food and language.

Leave with mindful souvenirs that make one appreciate their home life and clever peaceful ways to improve their lives.

If nothing else, in light of our current captain, would at least realize that no ship can stop or turn on a dime just because the petulant placating Putin puppet posturing to the proletariat tweets it so.

“Closer To The Heart”

By Rush

And the men (or women)
who hold high places
Must be the ones who start
To mold a new reality

Closer to the heart
Closer to the heart

The blacksmith and the artist
Reflect it in their art
They forge their creativity

Closer to the heart
Closer to the heart

Philosophers and ploughmen
Each must know his part
To sow a new mentality

Closer to the heart
Closer to the heart

You can be the captain
I will draw the chart
Sailing into destiny

Closer to the heart

Makes a Meritocracy seem possible.
