Remiss

Do to schadenfreudenistic tendencies

It is that we find ourselves practically

In a perpetual state of rubber necking

At the politically derailing train wreck

Destruction & decency dismemberment

Of daily hijinks, distraction and deceit

When with just a little bit more focus

We could keep our eyes on the road

With a new destination in mind & heart

One that brings us to the realization

That we are all of one consciousness
