“Shut up! Go back to bed, America.

The shooter was not defending himself against an overt tyrannical regime. So that argument is lost in the sauce.
Merely a subversive system keeping the population deep in weapons that can be used at any time by any one at any age.
In any caliber in any state for any reason in any modification w/out any restrictions.
Against who, oh yeah fellow citizens, basically encouraged by corporments (corporations and governments) to flail distraction at all possible costs (human life) so a reasonable solution can not be found.
With an underlying tag line to each of the recent mass shootings is that the guns were all purchased “legally”. Am sure that is comforting to the parents burying their dead loved ones. Scarring the rest with PTSD (Shell Shock) invisible wounds.
How free can you be in any true sense of the word, if even a fraction of your mind space has a compartment dedicated to sleeping with one eye open and ears tuned in 24/7 as to when whizzing bullets and gravity is going to bring you or a loved one down?
Less doors. WTF? How long before they suggest Jedi Knight training with light sabres, that will deflect the random bullets. Plus how cool as long as the sound effects can be heard.

From “School Shooting”
“After every school shooting, parents come on television and say: ‘Rap music is the problem. And drugs. And the lack of metal detectors.’ No.
The problem is that a lot of your kids are aggressive dicks and you won’t do shit about it. That’s the **problem.”
You never hear these parents say: ‘It’s terrible that Andy Williams shot up Santana High School, but I accept it was also our boy Ethan’s fault, because he was a sadistic prick to that kid,'”
(4)’Tell that to the cameras, Ethan. Tell them how you pulled Andy’s pants down, then pushed his head down the toilet.’
I never hear that on the news.”
– Doug Stanhope
That, and an unfettered access to wmds and you have a toxic cocktail of death waiting to be shaken, not stirred.
(4)(CNN)The father of the teenager accused of killing 10 people at Santa Fe High School in Texas says his son was a “good boy,” and he believes bullying drove him to perpetrate last week’s deadly rampage.
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, an evangelical Christian and Republican former radio talk-show host who has been a strong proponent of expanding gun liberties in the state, spoke with a cadre of officials on Friday, pointing out that though Santa Fe High School had been given a safety award from the state and enjoyed the regular protection of two police officers, it still fell victim to horrific violence at the hands of an armed teenager.
(2)“We may have to look at the design of our schools moving forward and retrofitting schools that are already built. And what I mean by that is there are too many entrances and too many exits to our more than 8,000 campuses in Texas,” he said, citing security at office buildings and courthouses. “Had there been one single entrance possibly for every student, maybe he would have been stopped.”

Could these criminal corporations not find something more practical to make than cashing in on a collective fear to make a product that in all practical purposes is never going to be used in the first place?
Save wasting the earth’s resources to occupy an already overcrowded classroom with a bullet proof cage to lure in the already fear stricken into a ready made booby trap.
That if a crazed killer was trying real hard to several dozen “one up” the last murderer he would have his fish in each barrel in each classroom.
When the best solution is through the attritional reduction of targets in the first place.
At least until we can wash the blood off of the world’s hands. Long enough to learn how to get along with each other in what is essentially a finite space that is getting more and more crowded, warmer and terribly toxic.
“Blood On The World’s Hands”
“Sometimes it makes me wonder
Sometimes it makes me question
Sometimes it makes me saddened
Always it makes me angry but…
When you can see it happening
The madness that’s all around you
Nobody seems to worry
The world seems so powerless to act…
It’s out of control
Blood on the world’s hands
Each day a new toll
Another assassination
The same day a new creation
But what are they coming into
Security of a world that brings…
One day another killing
Somewhere there’s someone starving
Another a savage raping
Meanwhile there’s someone
Laughing at us
It’s out of control
Blood on the world’s hands
Each day it goes on
Brutality and aggression
Tomorrow another lesson
Expecting another air raid
Praying for a ceasefire
They say things are getting better
No need to be complacent
There’s chaos across the border
And one day it could be happening to us
It’s out of control
Blood on the world’s hands
It’s our epitaph
It’s out of control
Someone should know
Blood on the world’s hands
Someone Should”
– Iron Maiden
