The Very Nature

October 15, 2020

O

Of voting is

Inherently fraudulent

If a candidate has a vision and a goal that

They think will make the world a better place

That is admirable and perhaps even worthy

May even inspire others to get involved

However if he they or she cannot move

Sway or encourage their colleagues for help

Their thoughtful promise comes up short

As their projection is based on theory anyway

In the I’m going to do what I say category

To no fault of their own perhaps just broken

Promises against other people’s interests

Leaving you holding the bag hoping for hope

That maybe one promise will materialize

Another could just be the exaggerated claims

By opponents as unsubstantiated scare tactics

Simply because they have a vested interest

In “winning” also, whether by fear or favor

As is obvious no one has time to do research

Besides people already live in pseudo fear

Some cast all of their hopes and prayers

Behind either an (R) or a (D) as if one is any

Less corrupt than the other or more moral

In a Buffalo jump to death led by herd morality

Saying you’re against all kinds of abortion yet

Are pro death penalty either by law war or jury

Another fraudulent aspect of voting is that

Some votes are cast by name recognition

As if driving to work or the voting booth

One recalls a name on a billboard or yard sign

In a race one could give two shits about

Say a judge auditor or commissioner

But it has seeped into awareness through

Repetition through a driving habit where if

You took a different route, vote differently

.
Voting is like the close >][< door switch

On an elevator, it is not connected

To anything that will alter the doors

Closing any quicker or at all, but

It gives the presser the psychological

Satisfaction it has some control

.
“So I have solved this little political dilemma for myself in a very simple way: on election-day, I-STAY-HOME. I don’t vote. Fuck ’em. FUCK THEM. I don’t vote. Two reasons. Two reasons I don’t vote: first of all, it’s meaningless.

This country was bought and sold and paid for a long time ago. The shit they shuffle around every four years doesn’t mean a fuckin’ thing. And secondly, I don’t vote ’cause I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain.

People like to twist that around. I know, they say, they say: “well if you don’t vote you have no right to complain”. But where’s the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent people, and they get into office and screw everything up, well you are responsible for what they have done, YOU caused the problem, you voted them in, you have no right to complain.

I on the other hand, who did not vote, WHO DID NOT VOTE.

Who in fact did not even leave the house on election-day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done, and have every RIGHT to complain as loud as I want, about the mess YOU created, that I had nothing to do with.

So I know that a little later on this year, you’re going to have another one of those really swell presidential elections that you like so much. You enjoy yourselves. It will be a lot of fun. I’m sure as soon as the election is over, your country will “improve” immediately.

As for me, I’ll be home on that day, doing essentially the same thing as you, the only difference is, when I get finished masturbating, I’m going to have a little something to show for it folks.”

– George Carlin

Contrary to Carlin’s comments I do vote.

Utilizing the Pascale wager God theory

Doubt that my vote counts…but just in case

Which follows a consistent pattern

Mentioned early in this post but instead

Of casting blindly for an (R) or a (D)

I choose a (F) female over a (M) male

Men have simply ran this place into the ground

And do not have the nurturing capacity

To even attempt to heal a hurt humanity

Reverse sexism….perhaps

But look out your window and realize

The collective better do something else

And quickly while there is still a chance

“Just an observation, maybe I need different glasses.”

– Angelo Devlin

Side note on voting about who runs for Coroner

How do you vote for any one person

When they each have the slogan

“I see dead people…….and I like it”
