Walking Talking Dilemma
So far removed
From our divine nature
We can not see
The forest through the trees
Eating our steady
Diet of distraction and
Crass consumption
.
Instead of craving
Consciousness
Only differentiating
Between right and wrong
Via an ethics committee
That does not retain the
Best interest of our soul
Merely the herd’s morality
.
As we say what we want
For ourselves yet make no
Steps to follow that path
Tis easier to want
Then to do as we feverishly
Tamp down where we’ve been
Looking at what we don’t have
.
“Have you ever started a path? No one seems willing to do this. We don’t mind using existing paths, but we rarely start new ones. Do it today. Start a path. Even if it doesn’t lead anywhere.”
.
