Unchained

November 7, 2023

We will never break free from the chains of our own enslavement until we can lose our prejudices, shake off an adherence to any given deity, and unlock the meaning and mystery of gender roles. As in flowers, evolving due only to pistils and stamens.

Stop shackling ourselves against the cold wet wall of “-ocracies” and “isms” as the end all be all to happiness and peace.

As most have been made manifest through indoctrination via repetition. In other words, we know what we know, not because we know it, but rather what has been taught and learned. Repeated, regurgitated, re-recited. Unlearning our divinity in each subsequent reincarnation incarceration.

“When you’re stepping over a homeless guy on the sidewalk…

Does it ever occur to you to think…….

“Wow – maybe our system doesn’t work?!”

– Bill Hicks

Methinks we know more of our deathlessness and universal connection to infinity than one has “time” to contemplate, therefore remain in our comfy prison cell, under warden Ego. Being fed negligent nutrition, just enough to keep building more prisons, keeping our fellow inmates in line.

Peering through the bars of experience, locked in solid by memories of what was, and what could have been. Confined, starting with the wardenship of parents or “guardians.” Followed by teachers, monitored by authorities, owned by corporations, leased to the banks.

Instead, there was a time when ancestrally, one was freer than all get out, with a connection to earth as our birth mother, provider, and protector. Cycling and recycling experientially to appreciate being unchained.

Detrimentally devolving into automatons, turning over, each their own authority to invisible “creators” now beholden to made up rules. Followed by politicians and lenders.

“Here’s how it happened: About five thousand years ago, a bunch of religious and political hustlers got together to figure out how they could control people and keep them in line. They knew people were basically stupid and would believe anything they were told, so these guys announced that God— God personally—had given one of them a list of Ten Commandments that he wanted everyone to follow. They claimed the whole thing took place on a mountaintop, when no one else was around.”

– George Carlin

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against…

We’re after power, and we mean it… There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals.

Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.

Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone?

But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt.

Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.”

― Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

What if, in our infinite innateness, we quieted the outside noise and chaos to tune in to our own vibration in such a way that the chains would simply fall away. Long enough for others to see the chains gone too, recognize, that is our true nature to be one with the word. Infinity.

“My solipsistic worldview
Doesn’t allow me to see
What may be real reality.”

– Angelo Devlin

“Presto”

“If I could wave my magic wand…

I am made from the dust of the stars
And the oceans flow in my veins
Here I hide in the heart of the city
Like a stranger coming out of the rain

The evening plane rises up from the runway
Over constellations of light
I look down into a million houses
And wonder what you’re doing tonight

If I could wave my magic wand
I’d make everything all right

I’m not one to believe in magic
But I sometimes have a second sight
I’m not one with a sense of proportion
When my heart still changes overnight

I had a dream of a winter garden
A midnight rendezvous
Silver, blue and frozen silence
What a fool I was for you

I had a dream of the open water
I was swimming away out to sea
So deep I could never touch bottom
What a fool I used to be

If I could wave my magic wand
I’d set everybody free

I’m not one to believe in magic
Though my memory has a second sight
I’m not one to go pointing my finger
When I radiate more heat than light

Don’t ask me
I’m just improvising
My illusion of careless flight
Can’t you see
My temperature’s rising
I radiate more heat than light

Don’t ask me
I’m just sympathizing
My illusions a harmless flight
Can’t you see
My temperature’s rising
I radiate more heat than light”

– Rush

“Crazy Horse”

We Hear what you say

One Earth, one Mother
One does not sell the Earth
The people walk upon

We are the land

How do we sell our Mother ?
How do we sell the stars ?
How do we sell the air ?

Crazy Horse

We hear what you say

Too many people
Standing their ground
Standing the wrong ground

Predators face he possessed a race
Possession a war that doesn’t end

Children of God
Feed on children of Earth

Days people don’t care for people
These days are the hardest

Material fields, material harvest
Decoration on chains that binds
Mirrors gold, the people lose their minds

Crazy Horse

We Hear what you say

One Earth, one Mother
One does not sell the Earth
The people walk upon
We are the land.

Today is now and then
Dream smokes touch the clouds
On a day when death didn’t die
Real world time tricks shadows lie
Red white perception deception
Predator tries civilising us
But the tribes will not go without return
Genetic light from the other side
A song from the heart our hearts to give
The wild days the glory days live
Crazy Horse
We Hear what you say

One Earth, one Mother
One does not sell the Earth
The people walk upon
We are the land

How do we sell our Mother
How do we sell the stars
How do we sell the air

Crazy Horse
We hear what you say
Crazy Horse
We hear what you say

We are the seventh generation
We are the seventh generation

– John Trudell

Might as well make this a “Three-for” Tuesday

“The Clansman”

Wake alone in the hills
With the wind in your face
It feels good to be proud
And be free and a race
That is part of a clan
And to live on highlands
And the air that you breathe
So pure and so clean

When alone on the hills
With the wind in your hair
With a longing to feel
Just to be free

Is it right to believe
In the need to be free
It’s a time when you die
And without asking why
Can’t you see what they do
They are grinding us down
They are taking our land
That belongs to the clans

Not alone with a dream
Just a want to be free
With a need to belong
I am the clansman

Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom

It’s a time wrought with fear
It’s a land wrought with change
Ancestors could hear
What is happening now
They would turn in their graves
They would all be ashamed
That the land of the free
Has been written in chains

And I know what I want
When the timing is right
Then I’ll take what is mine
I am the clansman

And I swear to defend
And we’ll fight to the end
And I swear that I’ll never
Be taken alive
And I know that we’ll stand
And we’ll fight for our land
And I swear that my bairns
Will be born free

And I know what I want
When the timing is right
Then I’ll take what I want
I am the clansman

Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom

[2x]
No, no we can’t let them take anymore
No we can’t let them take anymore
We’ve the land of the free

No, no we can’t let them take anymore
No we can’t let them take anymore
No we can’t let them take anymore
We’ve the land of the free

Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh

Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom

Is it right to believe
In the need to be free
It’s a time when you die
And without asking why
Can’t you see what they do
They are grinding us down
They are taking our land
That belongs to the clans

Not alone with a dream
Just a want to be free
With a need to belong
I am the clansman

And I know what I want
When the timing is right
Then I’ll take what is mine
I am the clansman

Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom

And I know what I want
When the timing is right
Then I’ll take what is mine
I am the clansman”

“There’s no way to rule innocent men.”What truer words… when one is innocent, when one conducts oneself according to one’s own internal commandments which are to be kind to self and other, no violence and no threat of violence, then there will be no need for any other rule. But that requires everyone to let go of their power hunger, to not need to feed on the weakness of others, but to celebrate vulnerability and take care of everyone. We can do it. You’re helping remind us.
