Fueled by finger pointing
At everything but the
Culprit corporations who
Observe people complaining
A mouthful about the high price
Of food with a mouth full
Because it is easier to blame
Politicians via pundits who also
Have a selfish stake in the game
Of riling up either side so their
Eyes and ears stay glued to
Media Mass-marketing outlets
To..sell more and more products *
At exorbitant and higher prices
Via barely talented, talking heads
Though their salary increases
Reading off of scripted prompters
In between the soundbites of
Rumors, hearsay, and innuendoes
Of things they are telling you to
Care about and have opinions on
Though at the end of the day, it
Has practically zero relevance
To the well-being of their family
Real issues that concern them
How they are educated and fed

Making it so easy to buy for when
The fiat currency collapses and
Every retailer is in the business
Of bartering bargains for gold
Has scales on hand plus secure
Means of storage to exchange
With the banks that did not collapse



Life is a zero-some game
You leave with what you came in with

It is unfortunate for a species that has
A cellular connection to all of the species
Not to communicate on that level to
Rally not to purchase any particular product
For a month, such as sodas and flavored drinks
Which have essentially doubled since Covid
Gouging being the only reasonable explanation

In a week that industry would be scrambling
To lower the prices as other corporations
Would be wondering if they were in que
Should the next “protested” product be theirs

Adding -enomics behind a president’s name
Is a distraction fraught with victimhood
Especially when the content is ignored
That positive things are going on besides
