Do Not Worry

February 18, 2025

You will get your turn

In the infinite infinity

Of infinity-ness to be

A saint or a sinner

A billionaire or a bum

A native or an immigrant

A drug dealer or a cop

A thief or victim of theft

A prisoner or prison guard

An adventurer or a shut-in

A paraplegic or an athlete

An alcoholic or a teetotaler

A Christian, a Jew, a Muslim

A Buddhist, a Confucianist, or

Even a doubting atheist

A teacher or student

A dictator or a peasant

A leader or a follower

A chicken or an egg

A philosopher or a dunce

A parent/child, a child/parent

A child/child or a parent/parent

A rebel or a conformist

A creator or a destroyer

Experience pain or pleasure

Wealth or poverty

Anxiety or calm

Depression or excitement

Fear or confidence

Anticipation or dread

Which, not only that, since everything

Is happening all at once, in the now

You are experiencing all of those

Experiences subjectively in another

Dimension or vibrations on a string

Along with the experience you are

Having now, in this moment, so why

Would you spend a continuous thought

Bemoaning the lives of others that are

Not to your liking when it is you in disguise

So that you can understand why you are here

To experience experiences for their own sake

I do not know if the above is true

However, at least as a consideration

It might make you learn to love yourself

By accepting others in their plight and

Not be anybody, but the best you, you can be

So above all

Do not worry

I have had the experience where it seems time is an odd, moveable structure. Like in an accident where it slows down to seem almost as if stopped, or hours go by and I don’t remember a thing about them. Or my favourite: how do we know that we’ve been in deep sleep?

    Excellent post!
