Logical Proof

For some reason, on my

Social media algorithm

It feeds me information

That agrees with my spirit

Or challenges solid beliefs

In order to answer questions

Begging for deeper inquiry



First, to catch my attention is

A depiction of the cosmos

Which is a lot to fit in

On a 3 inch square screen

The wording superimposed

Over the image, read as follows

The percentage makeup of the primary elements

Oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen.




Honestly, I have no clue

If it is “actually,” “true”

After all, it is just a digitized

Picture with clever wording

Showing stars and planets

Atomic symbols for atoms

Filing an outline of a human

To make the representation

Matching the words, but still

What a beautiful sentiment



While the number 7²⁷ of atoms

Seem extraordinarily high

(What do I know, I drive a truck)

The rest of it makes perfect sense

To establish logical proof



Unfortunately, I had time

To scroll through the comments

I’m not quite sure what I’d find

Only to read, many that agreed

Some spiritual, some funny

While others gave credit to God *,

For creating all of it, without realizing

It is all God, all Word, infinitely forever

No creation is necessary, just atoms

Making everything up by changing shape

Through the release and acquisition

Of protons, neutrons, electrons, quarks,

Neutrinos and other subatomic particles

Which the science ** crowd chimes in

With yes, it all started with the big bang

GET THE BIG PICTURE with constant reminding to

GET THE BIG PICTURE in order to be a good driver

• Aim high in steering
• Get the big picture
• Keep your eyes moving
• Leave yourself an out
• Make sure they see you


God and the Big Bang are too small in our collective thinking

Leading to contentious useless circuitous debates and violence


If you knew you were your enemy on any level
That the demon you hate and fear is yourself
Wouldn’t you want to resolve that to be
At peace with you and the infinite cosmos
