A Schrödinger Contemplation
No cat, box, radiation, hammer
Poison, or geiger counter necessary
If you are awake, you are alive
If you are asleep, you are dead
Consider, when you are “sleeping”
Either in a fancy box, or a cardboard one
“You” are not “there” in the first place
Quite frankly, if no one is observing you
Your existence is impossible to prove
Could you prove otherwise, hmmm
Try saying I Am, while sleeping
“I am”… I said
To no one there
And no one heard at all
Not even the chair
“I am”… I cried
“I am”… said I
And I am lost and I can’t
Even say why
“I am”… I said
“I am”… I cried
“I am”… I said
– Neil Diamond
One’s existence boils down
To a heady thought experiment
While each moment
Blends into the next
Wave after wave
“I have special glasses
To see the contradiction
In everything.”
– Angelo Devlin
From the cat’s perspective. I like it, Angelo. Or put another way, “If a tree falls in the forest…” from the tree’s perspective: “Yes, I make a sound!”

I’ve been contemplating your posts for a long time. I pay attention to how they shape my thoughts. And then shape my choices.
Recently I had a conversion of heart thanks to you. I let go of the arguments and discussions geared to “change” people’s minds. Arguments, no matter how brilliant, how flawless in their logic, never change anyone’s mind. Instead, I can just be kind. I can just love people, especially those who disagree with me. It seems to be the only way that any change can come about.
“Both” (all) sides are lying. Everyone lies to convince themselves they are right and are on the side of good. But in reality, there are no sides.
Thank you, as always, for showing the way.

Agreed
“Everyone lies to convince themselves they are right and are on the side of good. But in reality, there are no sides.”
If I narrow my focus, or broaden my outlook, there seems to be neither morality or karma, only experience. What better than, to experience each experience. Every single fractional one is new and different.
