Guns & Bullets, Logic & Reason, David & Goliath.

July 27, 2016

If reason and logic were bullets and weapons. ..

The gun lobby would lose every time, however,  seems to be a David and Goliath situation.

Special thanks to Malcolm Gladwell Author of “David and Goliath”.

Oddly enough,  think with me here,  or suspend disbelief for a moment  (ahk,  the moment, is gone )

Knowing the outcome of the story, (which,  it is, only a “story”).

Consider,  David, as the gun lobby,  the second ammenders,  NRA,  knowing regardless of the argument, they could easily take out a gun to end the argument.

Cause you know,  in the back of your head, regardless of how poetic or well written a solution to ending gun violence is, if a gun rights advocate doesn’t consider your idea rational to them,  you could get shot.

Geez, hope I don’t hit publish before I take that part out.

Goliath knows, despite his hugh size,  power of logic,  reason and formidable strength,  can get shot and killed ,

Since the gun is the modern version of the sling, and the bullet is a weapon of mass destruction.

As tiny as a bullet is, it destructs mass.

Mass:
“the property of a body that is a measure of its inertia and that is commonly taken as a measure of the amount of material it contains and causes it to have weight in a gravitational field”

So, Goliath sits idly and meekly by, “hoping” this “problem” will resolve itself.

Therefore the best argument would be to agree with the gun group and advocate “arming” everyone and at all times.

I mean everyone, grandma,  grandpa,  teenagers,  clerks,  priests,  rabbis,  crossing guards, football players,  ceo’s,  garbage collectors and babies.

Yes, babies,  then let the gun lobby use their own reason to come to the conclusion that perhaps maybe,  just maybe, that it might not be such a good idea for “everyone” to have guns. Even though they have the right to.

Amendment I I

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.

Better yet, since arms are not clarified and the argument is to avoid tyranny,

Nuclear weapons would work too.

It is it’s logical progression.

The awareness needs to be, knowing no one is going to do anything to take anyones guns away. I’m certainly not advocating it. (If “they” do,  I’d have nothing creative to write about. )

However,  it is a tool to keep people distracted,  like flag burning,  abortion,  steroids  etc,  it is a hot topic button, that plays into people’s fears.

So instead of working towards making life on this planet more peaceful, it keeps the masses distracted, while the puppeteers take the money to the bank, just on the extra unnecessary consumption alone.

From the hype created by the perceived scarcity of bullets, and illusionary fear of taking something away you don’t need in the first place.

“Gun Enthusiasts”

I’m not against guns // I’m not against bullets, I’m not even against people shooting each other.

Shit, shooting someone’s part of the American dream.

Besides,  what freedom could you possibly defend,  if you spend the rest of your life tortured,  knowing you killed someone..

It is my best understanding  ( since I have no “proof” references ) that murder is the least repeated crime,  because the awareness of the muderer of the havoc it has on their consciousness.

The gun advocates would have a perfect example, if the only guns used were used in self defense.

Unless school shootings,  suicide,  accidental shootings,  mass (as in a lot of  people at once), killing someone you don’t like while you’re drunk is considered self defense .

“You have no rights”

“It’s Bad for Ya”

Personally folks, I believe that if your rights came from God, he would’ve given you the right for some food every day, and he would’ve given you the right to a roof over your head. GOD would’ve been looking out for ya. You know that.

He wouldn’t have been worried making sure you have a gun so you can get drunk on Sunday night and kill your girlfriend’s parents.

I can’t think of a situation where Christ would use a gun.

I like now, how at banks and post offices, federal buildings and airports,  there are signs at the entrances that guns are not allowed, or there is a “fine”.

Shit, if that’s all it takes, everybody could just wear a t shirt,  saying no guns within shooting range of this shirt.
