Tear Jerker Show Time Double Standard

October 2, 2016

Remember the news report showing President Obama crying over children dying from “gun violence” ?

Wonder if, when he’s sending soldiers over to protect the corporate interests of the oil companies ( in the continuing policies of the Reagan and Bush administration’s ) and children are killed from that “gun violence”, as “collateral damage”,  if he cries as much????

Theoretical proof,  it’s a distraction.

WASHINGTON — President Obama has authorized sending an additional 600 American troops to Iraq to assist Iraqi forces in the looming battle to take back the city of Mosul from the Islamic State, United States officials said on Wednesday.

The announcement means that there will soon be 5,000 American troops in Iraq, seven years after the Obama administration withdrew all American troops from the country.

It is a illogical, if not hypocritical, on one hand to say we are going to take the weapons out of the wrong hands so that nobody gets hurt.

Meanwhile, sending off the military to essentially go to do the same thing, on a different level of do-as-i-say-not-as-i-do.

It’s pageantry,  folks,  political pageantry at its finest. I’m not picking on the current president,  it’s the role he got “chosen” for.

Trouble is, I’m guiltily responsible as well, for I purchase gasoline,  diesel,  pay my taxes and vote.  Shit.

I hate it when I point at myself in the mirror, It’s disturbing.

We can all rest assured,  something similar will occur in the next administration.  This is just a convenient coincidental coercion.

Which, regardless of the “polls” and the “Super Bowl” like atmosphere of the “debates”, one can expect Hillary to be the next Potus.

Why else would  H.W. Bush, endorse her.

How can we ever expect to stop bullying in a small sand box, when in a global sandbox, it’s absolutely okay?

Monkey see, monkey do.

“The Elite”

I have this feeling man, ’cause you know, it’s just a handful of people who run everything, you know … that’s true, it’s provable. It’s not … I’m not a F*#king conspiracy nut, it’s provable.

A handful, a very small elite, run and own these corporations, which include the mainstream media.

I have this feeling that whoever is elected president, like Clinton was, (No Irony There) no matter what you promise on the campaign trail – blah, blah, blah – when you win, you go into this smoke-filled room with the twelve industrialist capitalist scum-f*#ks who got you in there.

And you’re in this smoky room, and this little film screen comes down … and a big guy with a cigar goes, “Roll the film.”

And it’s a shot of the Kennedy assassination from an angle you’ve never seen before … that looks suspiciously like it’s from the grassy knoll.

And then the screen goes up and the lights come up, and they go to the new president,

“Any questions?”

“Er, just what my agenda is.”

“First we bomb Baghdad.”

“You got it …”

A hope, not our only hope is that at least with a feminine archetype at the helm,  we can evolve into a more compassionate empathetic humanity.

Putting the patriarchal (destructive,  greedy,  violent ) past to pasture. Maybe.
