Not much has changed in 30 + years. All seem to be in lock step with the party.
Albeit from different vantage points.
Time and time again regardless of their initial reporting of obvious interpretation of evidence.
Umm, free fall collapse, characteristics of a controlled demolition. Nevermind, shuffle those “facts” off to the conspiracy theorists. Dismissing the plausibility the buildings could have been “worked” both inside and outside by the same group.
What group? Hmm, what “group” gained?
Forget that, we have a script and an agenda to follow. Buy some shit, otherwise the terrorists “win”

Quietly take some marching orders, and start falling in to line, regurgitating the “official” story. Or completely back off as if it never happened.
Dare I say Vegas massacre, I’m sure the LVS chamber of “commerce” doesn’t want to keep any would be tourists away.
Therefore the “news” is directed by profit. Profiting ensuring spoils of war, or profits gained by nor reporting.
If it bleeds, it leads, till every last commercial viability has been bled out, or until something bloodier comes along.
Maybe because they are broadcasting in the realm of short attention span theater and it really won’t matter if they get to the abysmal bottom of truth or facts.
Recently saw Lewis Black in a live performance point out (I’m paraphrasing) that the “news” is not news *, it is speculation and prognostication.

Happened is so yesterday.
To keep ahead of each other, what you hear and see on the “news” is what they are trying to project on the American psyche as to what each media would like to have happen. Or what the viewer / listener / choir enjoys getting preached.
Depending on each’s perspective.

Fortunately or unfortunately it is not Fear vs. Love for love would win out.
Rather it is Fear vs. Complacency.
Uselessly swinging the pendulum when neither side has the best answer, yet combined, both would. There is no profit in that though, now is there.
Meanwhile, both are catering to their sponsors. Which if you surf the channels, find they are the same ones. Pushing unwitting consumption on a society deeply indebted to it already.
For example, bed mattresses last a really long time. Not so you’d notice, as custom bed in a box or somehow “different” than the other kind, 100 night free trial mattress. (so the actual likelihood of it getting returned is practically nil.)
Keeping you awake with “bad” “news” thinking it is what you are sleeping on.
Instead of the turmoil assembled in your cranium at the expense of you well-being for what is projected, fear, hate, blame, victim hood mentality, isolation and greed.
How many mattresses can one go through till it is realized it is not the mattress, it is the news for your inability to sleep?
Mattresses, pillow and magic sheet commercials are not played in the morning. Hmmmm?

Both sides are guilty. They have a good portion of the public believing that they monochromatically live in a “blue” or a “red” state.
Either making you feel smug and righteous that your thinking “matches” your state. Or angry and upset, no one is thinking like you.
