I would like to at least think

Regardless the silly sideshow

We are knocking on the door

To another dimension

That will give us

Enough of a glimpse

To realize we are all one

No differences no seperation

The miraculous life giving blood pump

Works the same for a person

Lying wretchedly in the gutter

As it does for the well groomed CEO

In their A/C’d office in an ivory tower

Regardless race gender or beliefs

Who both in the aeons of time

Will simply trade places of “stature”

Seems a little silly now doesn’t it

Making one either hopeful or despotic

That this “time” around

Things will be different
