We are all criminally complicit

Whether detractors or defenders

Kneeling at the alter of consumption

It continues because it works

Honing new skills each administration

Hunkered down in a den of iniquity

Why? Cause you can’t fight city hall

We’ve given away our power to the thems

With no clear way to take it back

Save some internal revolution

That transcends external authority

Guided by love, laughter and truth

Instead of the cruel rule of law

That adheres neither to rules or law

Merely the whims of the enforcers

From → Paradox, random
