Misleading Signs

Depending on where they’re placed

Recently read a highway reader board

(Leave it to the gov’t to distract your driving)

It read.

In glowing amber

“Be smart

Do your part

Stay six feet apart”

(Sounds as bad as my simple rhymes)

All well and good

However, where

It is located

Suggests the unsafe

Practice of tailgating

That read…..

“FOLLOW ORDERS

STAY @ HOME”

Whew…..

That lasted for about one night

Seeing as how it is in a state

That has a tendency to foster

A few faux macho manhood

Anti government militias

It quickly got gentled up to

“Make sure you

Wash your hands”
