Of society is a razor thin
Veneer of machismo that
Conceals its vulnerability
Propped up by flags & guns
Wealth war & wretchedness
None of which can cradle
The deeply wounded psyche
That SCREAMS you are not
Enough by your divine self
So then imbibes on illusions
To forget its fragile nature
That wants to love & be loved
