The Very Idea

December 14, 2020

That Justice
Can be doled out
Or served
Is ridiculous
Made up by seven lettets
Strung together into
A two syllable word
Assigned a definition
So vague
It is not defined

the maintenance or administration of what is just especially by the impartial adjustment of conflicting claims or the assignment of merited rewards or punishments

In a world so
Full of chaos
So out of balance
The scales not only tip
They never stop moving
Long enough to be fair
Even a modicum
Of justice
In the hand or minds
Of bipedal earthlings
That know neither
Justice nor peace
Is really out of the scope
Of their wheelhouse and
Should be scrapped
Altogether all together
In favor of something
More in line with
Our overall evolution
Such as compassion
Guidance and understanding
Love laughter and truth
Lady Justice is not only blind
She is deaf and immobile
And has never been given
A fair shake herself
Up until recently
She was subjugated
To men’s ownership and rule

“Just an observation, maybe I need different glasses.”

– Angelo Devlin.

(Where this should have stopped)
(Nope….apparently it keeps going)

So bound by historic chains
Even some she’s think
Should not be in control
Of her own body and mind
A bizarre case of collective
Stockholm syndrome
Hopefully when she heals
Herself of that dis ease
The world can be balanced
Then nurtured and loved
For there is no justice
In nature
It just is its nature

I hope some of the above makes sense
After the initial idea popped into my head
The rest flowed from my finger tips
Like a faucet that could not be turned off

Thanks for reading.
