Which Is It

Does Jesus save lives
Or is it………. seatbelts

An inquiring mind
Wants to know

I saw both “signs” today
However, the seatbelt one
Looked more “official”
Plus it makes more sense

Perhaps Jesus is
A brand of seatbelt

If this wasn’t an inquiry
It would be borderline blasphemous

I just want to know how?
Is Jesus a doctor or a back up plan
If you forget your seatbelt?

With my limited knowledge
Yet best understanding
Jesus is / was an Ascended Master

Not sure what that is, however
It sounds better than some
Schmuck with a GED

Still doesn’t answer the question though.

How does Jesus save lives?

Is it the belief in the name?

The imagined personification of a deity.
Running around saving lives, but
Perhaps……..only if you……believe.

Isn’t he well known for already having

“Died” for people’s “sins”*

If it is forgiveness for your “sins”
Skip the middleman. Forgive yourself.
He’s busy. Has to be, saving lives.

Just like the billboard messages say.

I am not suggesting or insinuating there is not a Jesus. I can fully accept that there is an Ascended Master spiritual teacher named Jesus. Likewise Buddha and Mohammad. Plus all the other alphabetical Ascended Masters we never hear about.

To my best perceived earthbound human capacity ability to understand, it is within our divine right and reach to achieve as well.

I just think Jesus’s alleged beginning, end and race are quite contrived to serve a different agenda. One that doesn’t align with his teachings. Such as forgiveness, helping the poor, feeding the hungry and healing the sick.

Due to some super/artificial book transferred from tall tales passed on in millennia, finally transcribed originally in three different languages. None of which were English.

Rewritten reworded recontextualized by those who reigned in power at each time of its writing to “serve” that “time”.

Apparently at this time, forgiveness, helping the poor, feeding the hungry and healing the sick, (although still in the book describing his teachings) his most notable modus operandi are relegated as discarded information.

As now simple minds, through oratory retellings, graven brass and wooden images using caucasian features, that Jesus is a white (pink) republican gun-toting flag waving, xenophobic, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, merikkkan capitalist.

Whose only mission is…. saving themselves.
