Un-Knowing

December 10, 2021

Knowing what we know now

How do we unknow

What no longer

Not only

Does not serve all

Bipedal earthling artists

But rather is detrimental

To our divine evolution

The bondage of human suffering

Begins with the bondage

Of human beliefs

Where different sections

Of different sects

Varied by geography

Or imaginary borders

Lay literal claim

To an invisible force

“An energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together.”

– Obi-Wan Kenobi

Into that of invisible men

That were fabricated

Eons ago to explain

The seemingly unexplainable

With variations on a theme

Of how to behave peaceably

Get along together with

The humility of understanding

Everyone’s differences

Lest of course they differ

……….Slightly………

“Personally, I think it’s a bunch of shit. Well I mean, life is sacred? Who said so? God?

Hey if you read history, you realize that God is one of the leading causes of death.

Has been for thousands of years. Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Christians, all taking turns killing each other because God told them it was a good idea.

The sword of God, the blood of the lamb, vengeance is mine, millions of dead motherfuckers, all because they gave the wrong answer to the God question.

‘You believe in God?’

‘No.’

*BANG* Dead.

‘You believe in God?’

‘Yes.’

‘You believe in my God?’

‘No.’

*Bang* Dead.

‘My God has a bigger dick than your God!’

That’s how it is, isn’t it?

Thousands of years, and all the best wars too, the bloodiest, most brutal wars fought all based on religious hatred, which is fine with me.

Anytime a bunch of holy people want to kill each other, I’m a happy guy.”

– George Carlin

.

So now that we know that

Literally metaphorically

Actually and comedically

How do we unknown that

To free the collective

From their suffering

Both pointed and perceived

That we may accomplish

True freedom and peace

Maybe we need

To invent

A global sized

Men In Black

Flashy thing

To eradicate

From our minds

All of the biblical

Mistaken indoctrinations

Like a root program

Imbedded in our

Hard drive of

Illogical beginnings

An irrational flooding

By a supreme being

Guilty of globalcide

Letting the survivors

Divide themselves into

Made up hierarchies

Tribes with violent leaders

Who fought over

Not water or food

But rather because

God would help them win

If they followed “his” laws

Which did not apply to “him”

Guilty once again of murder

Known as filial-cide

After “sending” his son

To teach and guide by example

When that didn’t work

He “allowed” him to be killed

“Thanks dad”

– Jesus Christ

Scapegoating society’s sins

As the bizarre justification

“I don’t even understand the connection with ‘died for your sins’. He died for your sin, well, how does one affect the other? ‘I hit myself in the foot with a shovel for your mortgage’…

– Doug Stanhope

BS like that and all the rest

Has befallen our collective psyche

Causing a whole lot of

Mistrust and suspicion

Simply because someone

Doesn’t look like you

Or sound like you

Too many conjuring up

Similar images of

Omniscient bogeyman

When in reality

All were spawned

From the same

Mother

Earth

How do we not

Know that?

Perhaps because

That is not

What is

Known

“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”

– Angelo Devlin

If we could only

“Imagine”

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today…. Aha-ah…

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace… You…

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world… You…

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one

– John Lennon
