Snowflake. Moments.

January 25, 2022

The snowflake coalesces
Atmospheric water vapor
Pure in its unique form
Frozen in a moment
Gravity brings it down

Headlong towards earth
Striking the windshield
Like bugs in summertime
Look at the damage caused
Wiped away like a sad tear

Coldly and quickly
Mourning its death
Sun warms the remains
Rising from saline puddles
Starting all over again

The snowflake coalesces…..

“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”

– Angelo Devlin

“There’s time to live and time to die
When it’s time to meet the maker
There’s time to live but isn’t it strange
That as soon as you’re born you’re dying…

…and reborn again??”

– Iron Maiden

Where this should have stopped.
Which would be more poetic than

“The snowflake coalesces…..”

Yet, since I still have that license……

Some book and groups
Surrounding various fictions
Have the audacity to somehow
Try to convince people
There is a beginning
Therefore an end

When each moment
Is somewhere
In a cycle of
Being a moment
Within a moment

Methinks each moment
Therefore is there
To be garnered as
Precious before the
Next moment occurs

On that contemplation
Why the book why
The interpretations
Of Alpha and Omega
My guess is that way

Money and fear
Get involved
Salvation is sold
But only if you “believe”
Like temporary products
You must just have

When neither exist
Solidly or permanently
Any more than the
Frozen fragile snowflake
Melting into the

“Circle Of Life”

“From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There’s more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done

Some say, “Eat or be eaten.”
Some say, “Live and let live.”
But all are agreed
As they join the stampede
You should never take more than you give

In the circle of life
It’s the wheel of fortune
It’s the leap of faith
It’s the band of hope
‘Til we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle, the circle of life

Some of us fall by the wayside
And some of us soar to the stars
And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scars

There’s far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

In the circle of life
It’s the wheel of fortune
It’s the leap of faith
It’s the band of hope
‘Til we find our place
On the path unwinding, yeah
In the circle, the circle of life

It’s the wheel of fortune, yeah
It’s the leap of faith
It’s the band of hope
‘Til we find our place
On the path unwinding, yeah
In the circle, the circle of life
On the path unwinding, yeah
In the circle, the circle of life”

– Elton John
