I Am Tripping

Just by listening to

Terrence McKenna’s

Book


“Food Of The God’s”



Flowing like a river of consciousness

Using words I don’t know but understand

Off course, still look them up anyway

With words in context that have new meaning



Having never imbibed any hallucinogens

The vivid descriptions, tell tale images

Of altered states of awareness are not

Enough yet to start experimenting for

Me, myself, I, my job, family, house and car



Even though knowing possession of the

Fore-mentioned job, family, house and car

Are temporary illusions impossible to own

Still deserve the respect of infinite value

Primarily the family that takes care of me

With all my quirky idiosyncrasies or is that

Idiot out of sync with social surroundings



For example Terrence describes words

Not so much to define reality but rather

That words are indeed reality them selves

Correlating with my long held perception*

*(belief, a word attached to made-up beliefs
Perception, therefore being more accurate)

Wowwy, look at me using Bible verses finding
About the only “truth” to be found in that book
Nevermind, that is just my perception / belief



Back to the book, making the use of words

The most powerful hallucinogens of all time

Noting that “time” only exists…….because….

There’s a word for it, now you are tripping, huh



Here’s another mind bending word

Snowflake

While we may think it is made up of

Frozen water vapor falling from the sky

It is made up of the words to describe

Frozen – very cold – not hot – brrrrr

Water – h20 – hydrogen plus two oxygen

Vapor – the mist of water – see above

Falling – one word for gravity

Gravity like time only a perceived reality

Because there are words for them

Sky – the atmosphere above the earth

Earth – the space ship we are riding on

Etcetera etcetera etcetera……. etcetera

Matters not even what “language” is used

Any word in any languages make up reality

In the mind of a spark of the divine

Geez, am only about a quarter of the way
Through the audio book, here is to hoping
I will not overdose on……………..words

If there were any other way to communicate this awareness, you would/could be looking at a blank screen. Thankfully there are words.
