Opposition
From the opposite perspective
No body would want
A governing body
Governing their body
Regardless of the
Tyranny of the majority or
A tyrannical minority
Depending largely on
Who is participating
As to who is which
Mandatory vasectomies
To any male even
Thinking of rutting
With egg producing bipeds
Would be considered an
Infringement of their “rights”
That perspective jn
All likelihood could END
The abortion argument
Yet, neither of either
Are going to happen
WHAT
Now the government
Has no say in medical
Treatments of a body. Hmmm.
Such hypocrisy, shame shame
The other thing that won’t happen
Is when the planet is plum full
Of wanted or unwanted
Usually both unplanned
Pregnancies then the
Legislation of automatic
Sterilization of both sexes
At puberty will commence
While figuring out who
Might have the right to
Keep the goodies to
Keep creating such
A self destructive species
Save birthing the baby
Directly into a casket
Because the pollution
Of a scorched earth
Fresh out of fresh resources
Will have blocked the sun
Kicking everyone into
Mad Max apocalyptic
Survival mean mode of
Our own ignorant doings
Not some invisible hand
Reaching from the sky
To amuse himself in the
Hands off binge watching
Death of humanity by sheer
Replication of ignorance
Spawns of consumption
Homo-erectus geo-destructus
That I am guessing is Latin
For man destroying planet
Which methinks is not our
Intended divine birthright
Of creativity and expression
Living, loving, sharing and wonder*
Rather our followed distraction
Like a cat chasing a laser point of
Consumption production destruction
Repetition expedition and lamention
To which there is no opposition
Because someone somewhere
Can make a dollar in the process
Where this should have stopped……
Nope, just a little bit more
If a farmer planted
A crop in a fertile field
Just to spread his seed
Because he liked to
But had no plans to
Help harvest the product
Other farmers would
Cut off his ability
To plant any more seeds
As it would be their
Responsibility to do so
Otherwise they would
Continue to be burdened
With the extra expense and
Time they do not have to
Properly cultivate the crop(s)
“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”

All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten
by Robert Fulghum
Most of what I really need
To know about how to live
And what to do and how to be
I learned in kindergarten.
Wisdom was not at the top
Of the graduate school mountain,
But there in the sandpile at Sunday school.
These are the things I learned:
Share everything.
Play fair.
Don’t hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don’t take things that aren’t yours.
Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life –
Learn some and think some
And draw and paint and sing and dance
And play and work everyday some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world,
Watch out for traffic,
Hold hands and stick together.
Be aware of wonder.
