Kicking out a widget

Get next delivery ready

Every once in a while, will deliver

Something peculiar or to a peculiar place

Must pause and ask questions

So “what is “this” for ?” To which

Will either hear, they have no clue

And are just doing their “factory” work

Or will get a hearty, let me tell you….



After picking up 50,000 pounds of

Palletized big bags of some grain

Shipping out to be converted to fuel

Inquiring in between 24 pallets

On two trailers with a pallet jack

The loader / entrepreneur showed

Me how their small set up was

Being adapted to process hemp

Finally a natural resource used wisely

What came out of the dually prompted
Conversation of quick questioning was
The fibres in hemp will be able to make
Lighter windmill blades turning turbines

Also, since old broken carbon fiber ones
Up to 170′ feet long get buried in land fills
Their process will be able to stop that and
Incorporate it in to the new blades win win

At a different stop at a larger operation
The converted warehouse was bustling
With activity around flaxen colored bales
That looked uniquely strange so I had to ask

What is this stuff used for, for I am curious

Received the same stored excited response
It can make concrete lighter and stronger
Eliminating plastics and toxic resins…cool


All this time during the alleged “drug war”
Rather the attack on personal freedoms war
Society could have been using this hemp
To build more homes quicker and cheaper
With tons and tons less environment damage
