Am fairly certain try as I might
With my communication skills
Will not convey what was perceived
Or what purpose it serves

Here goes….

Recently went to a Japanese restaurant
That had just opened for lunch, sat to eat
So the atmosphere started nice and quiet

Before the clanking of dishes
The exhaust of fans
Knashing of knives and
Chaos of conversation

In a moment of perceived clarity
As throngs of people sat to eat
It occurred to me to see them as

Invisible “shells” for individual souls
Seeing a fine mist in clear containers
Stripped of their skin and skeleton

No race, wealth, religion or politics
Gender, beauty or appearance deficits

Just souls in soul cages
Nourishing their vehicles
To get to their unknown destination

There seemed to be no tortured souls
For there were no mirrors……???
Just separation by silhouettes
In anthropomorphic form

Dividing up the Oversoul
That it may experience human life
On this planet at this “time”
