Truth Theory
Truth can not be represented by metaphor
Which is ironic, since what is “true”
Is merely a perception of convenience
Usually made as a declaration
“I have in my hand a glass of water”
Seems, could be a statement of truth
However the “glass” is plastic, not glass
The water is a combination of
Hydrogen and oxygen that is only
Water when combined proportionately
Two parts of hydrogen and one part oxygen
If I held it long enough would evaporate
Making what appeared to be true, “untrue”
So at best “truth” is kind of temporal
Depending on time and circumstances
Will give a go at another perceived truth
“I am a whole living human being”
(Which is debatable for me, just being me)
However…..
Knowing that “As soon as you’re born
You are dying” – Iron Maiden
At what point is one ever “whole”
Long enough to be a “truth”
Can it be defined by mass / weight
Mass is made up of matter
Which is either perceived waves or particles
Weight is measured by a device made up
By the same interchanging waves or particles
Besides weight changes each moment
Plus varying by celestial planetary size, given
A weight “truth” on Earth, not be truth on Mars
KAFFEE: I want the truth!
JESSUP: You can’t handle the truth!
– “A Few Good Men”
“That all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration – that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively.” – Bill Hicks
Seems to be the truth
We can’t handle
What we do to ourselves
We do to others
What we do to others
We do to ourselves
In other words
We are the children…….we just slaughtered
Oopsie
Truth is the fairytale of belief
We all know how substantial beliefs are…
Based not on facts or proof or substance
Rather interpretations of indoctrinations
In other words…because somebody said so
Deciphered via the whispers game
Then written down and reinterpreted
Passed on via the telephone game
Rearranged and remembered wrongly
Yet clung to like a sinking life-raft
“I will go down with this ship
And I won’t put my hands up and surrender”
– Dido
“The opposite of a profound truth is
another profound truth” – Niels Bohr
The “truth” is……
This could go on indefinitely infinitely
Or until the end of the universe or
“If Eternity Should Fail” – Iron Maiden
Which ever comes first
“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”
– Angelo Devlin
