IS
From the cheap seats of my theoretical nonexistent existence. There is no easier perceive-able concept to cling to, than IS.

Accepting that I am but a tiny infinitesimally small fractional inconsequential bit of the whole, while also being the whole, gigantic mega colossal infinite.
With absolutely zero, zip, zilch, nada, nothing of any sort of alpha and or omega evidence, that can heard, tasted, touched, seen or smelled.
If for nothing else, the bipedal earthling artist, that formed out of some gooey, thick, hot sticky primordial ooze.
Feels compelled to quantify its miraculous, not so miraculous future pull / pool of consciousness with a fantasy story that starts with, “Once upon a time”, “In the beginning”, or “KABOOM”
Knowing full / fool well, that when it gets to “The End”, new stories arise as sequels, prequels, retellings with different characters and wild extrapolations.
All based on being derivatives of the WORD*, into more words, more descriptions, clearer understandings, new definitions, better meanings.
Though none will ever be solid enough to hold on to forever like space, time, gravity, light, heat, smell, sound. Try it for yourself, put any one of those in your hand to hold.
“The Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:1
Guess what, that makes…..you.
Do not believe me, follow it out to your own logical or illogical conclusion, linearly in either direction, rather any direction. Since it is always spinning all ways.
Through everything and nothing regardless of velocity or probable location. That will never be where it once was. If it was / is “there” at all.
Inspired in part by Brian Greene’s audio book “The Fabric Of The Cosmos” Space, Time, and the Texture of Reality.
“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”

This also popped into my head.
“I turn my back to the wind
To catch my breath
Before I start off again
Driven on
Without a moment to spend
To pass an evening
With a drink and a friend
I let my skin get too thin
I’d like to pause,
No matter what I pretend
Like some pilgrim
Who learns to transcend
Learns to live
As if each step was the end
Time stand still
I’m not looking back
But I want to look around me now
Time stands still
See more of the people
And the places that surround me now
Time stands still
Freeze this moment
A little bit longer
Make each sensation
A little bit stronger
Experience slips away
Experience slips away
Time stands still
I turn my face to the sun
Close my eyes
Let my defenses down
All those wounds
That I can’t get unwound
I let my past go too fast
No time to pause
If I could slow it all down
Like some captain
Whose ship runs aground
I can wait until the tide comes around
Time stand still
I’m not looking back
But I want to look around me now
Time stands still
See more of the people
And the places that surround me now
Freeze this moment
A little bit longer
Make each sensation
A little bit stronger
Make each impression
A little bit stronger
Freeze this motion
A little bit longer
The innocence slips away
The innocence slips away
Time stands still
Time stands still
I’m not looking back
But I want to look around me now
See more of the people
And the places that surround me now
Time stands still
Summer’s going fast
Nights growing colder
Children growing up
Old friends growing older
Freeze this moment
A little bit longer
Make each sensation
A little bit stronger
Experience slips away
Experience slips away
The innocence slips away”
