A strange supposition indeed

If we didn’t have a

Belly that was empty

We wouldn’t have a

Belly to fill

Homeless person

We wouldn’t have a

House to build

If we didn’t have a

War to fight

We wouldn’t have a

War to stop

If we didn’t have a

Planet to destroy

We wouldn’t have a

Planet to save

Certainly I’d have

Nothing to write about

The way

The world is…..

Was the way

Of peace, harmony

Sharing, compassion

Love and understanding

I’m okay with that
