There is a guy, I’ll call him Steve, since that is his name. A coworker of sorts that drives to the same terminal I do, from a different direction. There, enough background story.

Steve seems like a nice gentleman, always helpful and kind. Full of wit and wisdom. Hmm, since I barely know you and will never see you outside of work, let’s be FB friends.

I rarely post anything. It is mostly to view family photos posted by family members, events children, and grandchildren participate in.

Steve likes to post, work grievances, religious themes, Trump support, and outdoor recreational side by side adventures.


I assume “Judgment Day” comes when one dies, on the presumption that if you spend a lifetime of “behaving” in a certain, assumed, perceived way, then you will get to go to “heaven”. Or ask forgiveness a few moments prior, then go to heaven.  Hmmmm.

The following is a complete editorialization and extrapolation of projections entirely for my amusement and perhaps yours.

Steve: Hi God

God: I see you’ve been posting digitized colorful, cute memes that.  “Judgment day will not be rigged.”

Steve: Yes, God, I thought that one was most clever.

God: Well, let’s get to it, seeing as how, just today, like yesterday there are 170,000 people* that died today and are, or are not “waiting” for their “Judgment”. Depending on how they were indoctrinated into their beliefs, or lack thereof.

Without casting any aspersions to “Steve”, methinks it is incredible, that allegedly grown adults, feel the need to mentally manufacture a bogeyman in order to behave a certain way and perpetuate it to infect others. Especially when they could look within and realize they have the “God” power themselves to do incredible good, always, all the time without identifying with the hat wearing, finger pointing, perpetual and professional victim club and class.


Abstractly, they are presenting themselves, that they live in fear, aligning with a safety in numbers cowardice crowd for protection.
