Defeating Fascism

Will do you no good

If you are still controlled by

The parental voices in your head

That continue to tell you that

You are not valued just for being

Likewise

Advocating for fascism

Will not help you achieve

Personal responsibility and discipline

To make your life one iota better

Because you feel so out of control



Maybe the following serenity prayer adaptation will help

Word(s)/God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I can not change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time,
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace.

Taking this objectionable world
as it is, not as I would have it.

Trusting that Word(s) will make all things right
if I utilize the power of Word(s)

That I may be personally happy in this life
and supremely happy with Word(s).

Amen.


Adapted for a more personally responsible tone in the present, than suggesting an invisible deity is qualified to do it for you if you only believe in a Santa Clause caricature in a different, next, final dimension than this one. Living in the present present is the way.


Case in point


Santa Clause, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I can not change,

and wisdom to know the difference.

Taking, as Santa Clause did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it.

Trusting that Santa Clause will make all things right
if I surrender to Santa Clause’s will.

That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Santa Clause
forever in the next.
