To Be Completely Honest

October 13, 2025

Seems to be damn near impossible

After all, where does one start on

The Mobius strip of infinite reality

Let us try and start “at a beginning”

This seems simple enough, right?

I am alive.

Three words of an “honest” statement

With some help from AI

“As words, what is the difference or similarities between truth and honesty?

Excellent question — truth and honesty are closely related, but they’re not the same. Here’s how they differ and overlap:

1. Truth

Definition: What is factually accurate or real — it exists independently of what someone believes or says.

Example: “The earth orbits the sun” is a truth, regardless of whether someone is honest or not about it.

Key idea: Truth is objective — it’s about reality.

2. Honesty

Definition: The quality of being truthful — speaking or acting in a way that matches what you believe to be true.

Example: A person who genuinely believes something and says it openly is being honest, even if what they believe happens to be false.

Key idea: Honesty is subjective — it’s about integrity and intention.

In short:

Truth = what is.

Honesty = how you relate to what is.

Someone can be honest but wrong (if they believe a falsehood) or dishonest but accurate (if they tell the truth for manipulative reasons).”

Hmmmm, let’s start over on that Mobius strip.

In short:

Truth = what is.

Honesty = how you relate to what is.

Yeah, sure….

I am alive.

Who is I? Okay, me. Got it…… But wait…

Is I the “ego”?

“: the self especially as contrasted with another self or the world”

– m-w.com

Or is I the “spirit”?

“: an animating or vital principle held to give life to physical  organisms”

The “honest” answer is…..

Whichever I believe

Oh shit, here we go again

Belief, proof, truth, and honesty are

On a mobius strip all by themselves

We haven’t even gotten to “am” yet

“:present tense first-person singular of be”

– m-w.com

I am

In other words, “me is” or “me be”

Sounds crudely simple, but it removes the ego

But now, what is me?

Is it the collective connection between

The brain, heart, and lungs?

Feets don’t fail me now. Are they included?

My best understanding based on a

Lifetime of minimal research, me is

A collection of molecules that gather together

To always be forming an autonomous being

Through alleged nutritional intake

Processing it through saliva and the gatekeeper throat

Splashing into a stomach pool of hydrochloric acid

That by itself can dissolve metals, bone, meat, and fiber

Yet, individuals walk around as if miraculous events

Are not occurring in their body and stomach by

Sending waste through a slow amusement park ride

Down the colon through intestines, both large and small

Meanwhile, my brain, heart, and lungs are controlling

All of that process, without any input from me, myself and I

And yet “I” have the audacity, “to be completely “honest” “

Declaring that “I am alive” when technically

“I” / “me” has nothing to do with “being” alive.

All the while, me, myself, and I are the three blind guys

Trying to describe the elephant as each “sees” it

Arguing amongst themselves as to who is being “honest”

Because unlike the fable, there is no passerby that will

Ever come along to reveal the “truth” of the elephant

Michaelangelo’s hand of man to God never connects

Throw in some solipsism and indoctrinated gaslighting

Then have a party while trying to be completely honest

On the dark side

This whole house of cards is built
On the shifting sands of deception

On the bright side

Think of the challenge it represents
To try and make human connections
Of shared or dissimilar experiences
While maintaining your place and
Remembering your lines played out
On the world’s spherical stage

The fragility of it all does not stop
The intention and effort it takes to
Prop up whatever card is placed
In order to balance it up again for
Another start, futile as it may be
Regarding the known outcome of
Our Sisyphian spiritual quest

“I have special glasses
To see the contradiction
In everything.”

    Spectacular!!

The ‘who am I?’ question – isn’t it the most mysterious of all?! Who is asking? And who is asking “who is it?”? Mobius everywhere!
