“The news.” Okay, that’s all I needed to hear.
As of this writing, less than one thousand structures have burned down. According to the all omniscient AI, there are between 75 and 85 thousand structures, which is wildly vague for an entity allegedly all-knowing.
Speaking of allegedly, my first question to AI was, “How many building structures are there in Spokane?” Its response was.
“There is no official total count available for all individual residential and commercial buildings in Spokane, Washington. Municipal tracking generally focuses on specific categories rather than a complete tally of every structure.”
So much for being all-knowing. Tsk, tsk. So I gave it a legal loophole and asked, “approximately.” It perked right up and gave me the ten thousand betwixt and between of 75 to 85 thousand.
I did my gazintas, splitting the difference at 80k. Took 913 divided by 80k = .0114 structures have burned.
That is hardly all of Spokane is burning down. Information like that is for the sensationally senseless. Humdrum daily lives need excitement, just to get through to the next day. Till the next conjured catastrophe captures the contents of their cranium.

Maybe, maybe if the news was not so ostentatiously overwhelming to keep and attracting audiences and ad revenues, we could collectively combine our consciousness to find a better way to create more liveable livelihoods that are not contingent on constant chaos.

Yes indeed! Unless you’re there to see it, it’s unlikely anything similar to what the news says it is. Plus gotta love all the movie sets they find near war zones. I remember a story about that even back in Ireland (80s?) where they filmed some ‘horrors’ to be broadcast to the world. Donations went up by a lot.
Also, I worked with a guy whose brother did documentaries in Africa to show how the millions of aid made a difference to poor communities. Instead, he discovered auditions for ‘starving kids’ and how the corrupt leaders lived like kings off the donations from people who believed they were helping.
Of course, better to be mindlessly generous than the jerks who dupe.

There seems to be a limitless supply of false flags everywhere.
Though I suppose it is an external reflection of how when an individual is put under personal pressure, their first instinct is to deflect and distract, instead of owning the responsibility.
Recently observed a preemptive distraction, where a narrative explained, set the stage for when the full story may or may not revealed would throw a different light on what may have actually happened.
I am sure every individual is guilty, it is just a matter of degree, and who sees / hears the explanation first.
