I Believe In Proof

Which at best is only temporary

Corroborated by my perceptions

Of things that substantiate my

Subjective perspective of reality

With the ability to knock on wood

Not as a wish to change an outcome

Rather a tangible sensation of a

Tactile experience of nerves

Sending electrical signals to a

Spongy gray main frame enclosed

Solar powered wireless computer

Activating four of five senses

I can see the wood with my eyes

Smell it with my nose and when I

Knock on it with my knuckles

It feels hard as the sound is

Captured by my ears all at once

Despite all of that alleged proof

Lies the fact that all manifestations

Of wood, eyes, nose, ears, fingers

Brains with an ability to communicate

Will entropy and decay into no evidence

Figments of my imagination

Coagulating as abstractions

Made up of mind matter

The substance of make believe

Reality, projections and assumptions

Making me one with the whole

While being whole with the one

Which is inherent in the proof of

All that exists that all ways exists

“All of that
Which has reality
Has no basis
In reality”

– Angelo Devlin

We Made It Up

The more one

Thinks about it

The more one realizes

The reality of reality

Is something

We made up

Not with molecules

Which would be tricky

But rather……words

Such that, like molecules

Have always existed

The analogy being

That, as molecules

Change shape and

Transform back and forth

Between waves and particles

So do words and definitions

Interpretations and intentions

Nothing (no thing) is a thing

It has to be, it is right there

“In the beginning, the Word already existed.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

John 1:1

Nothing (no thing) is a thing

Made up not of a vacuum

Or rather in a vacuum

Which too is something

The collective consciousness

Made up

We made it up

Isn’t that neat

How powerful we must be

Reality exists because

We have a word for it

That is so cool

Not as in the dictionary

“1: moderately cold : lacking in warmth”

– M-W.com

But rather

“7a: very good : excellent

– M-W.com

Both made up

By the way, as

The mother of necessity

(Also made up)

Everything (every thing)

Every God or gods

Every infinity or big bang

Every good or bad

Every up or down, east or west

Every plant, animal, or mineral

We made it up

Pick nearly anything (any thing)

Life, death, love, hate, create, destroy

Race, sex, value, values

Morals, morality, immorality

Besides, all are open to interpretation

Perception, content, and context

It all exists because

We made it up

Every _____________, whatever

We made it up

Money, we made up….. money *

A bum or a billionaire

(Which lately, is one and the same)

Is still just a person

Like all other eight billion persons

Or nine billion or so if one has

The tendency to include fetuses

Or 117 billion, if corpses are included

Laws

We made up laws

“Law: 1c  a rule or order that it is advisable or obligatory to observe”

– M-W.com

Thou shalt not kill

Hey, good law

Except when profits are at stake

Then what is made up is

Open to interpretation

Turning persons into enemies

Or undesirables

Made up by someone or

A group of someone’s

Therefore, to be terminated (exterminated)

With extreme prejudice

Killed, not by deadly means

Rather, with euphemisms and innuendoes

Neutralized, collateral damage, etcetera

Still dead, but in a more palatable way

It is much easier to accept death of

Non-combatants, usually (children)

Or “friendly fire” when soldiers

“Accidentally” kill their own team members

That eases the conscience

Of the unconscious

So much for “Thou shalt not kill”

Before this goes on forever, and I

Extrapolate on all of the reality we made up

Will close with some George Carlin

“We made them both up.

Sanctity of life and the death penalty.

Aren’t we versatile?”

“My solipsistic worldview

Does not allow me to see

What may be real reality.”

* money

Made up of 0’s and 1’s

Not 1 through 9 rather

A digitized code on a computer

Telling each other how much

Magical made up money they

“Have” ……..Bwahahaha

Made up by banks and “reserves”

Reserves……..Bwahahaha

Figments of a collective creation

To nurture greed and consumption

“For an economy, that is

Fake in the first place” – Bill Hicks

If you think your money “exists”

Why can’t you “take it” with “you”

When you “go”

I’m just asking for eight billion friends

Make that 126 billion friends and counting

Via numbers…..that “we” …..made up

With a search engine

At my fingertips

I pulled up the following

“When President Donald Trump canceled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in 2018, he blamed rain for the last-minute decision, saying that “the helicopter couldn’t fly” and that the Secret Service wouldn’t drive him there. Neither claim was true.

Trump rejected the idea of the visit because he feared his hair would become disheveled in the rain, and because he did not believe it important to honor American war dead, according to four people with firsthand knowledge of the discussion that day. In a conversation with senior staff members on the morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.”

It occurred desperately to me to

Kindly inquire about the juxtaposition

Of the mixed and contradictory messages

Between his vest and his hat to at least

Grasp at some understanding of WHY??

Why would one support a loser when 45

Considers the vest wearer a loser

Then I realized I don’t usually strike

Up a conversation with billboards

Plus, then I’d be compelled to point out

That his hat was probably made in China

Which isn’t exactly an America first tactic

To build a strong economy here

While spending money, some place else

So, since my writing muse

Presented me with this information

Thought I’d write about it

And leave it here to amuse my

Infinite Love

My love for infinity

Comes back to me

In infinite ways

Infinitely forever

Almost like there

Is no separation

Between me and

Everything else

Oh wait….there

Is no separation

Imagine that

Neither good

Nor evil…….

Just infinite love

That goes on and

On and on and on

Merely a change

In consciousness

Through experience

Altering between

Waves and particles

Beyond the speed

Of light or thought*

No beginning

Nor end therefore

No “creator”

Or “destroyer”

No “one” to thank

Nothing to pray to

Nothing to be prey for

“Bind all of us together,
Ablaze with Hope and Free,
No storm or heavy weather
Will rock the boat you’ll see.

The time has come to close your eyes
And still the wind and rain,
For the one who will be King
Is the Watcher in the Ring.

It is You.
It is You.”

Most Likely

I am wrong

About everything

I’m okay with that

Me being “right”

Helps no one

It’s a good place to be

To question everything

Besides there is not any

Proof in any pudding

It could all be simulated

Sensory stimulation

Who is to say otherwise

Like virtual reality goggles

Within a VR headset

Inside of a hologram

Based on a projection

Digitized and displayed

On the mind’s eye

Think of a memory

That happened “back” when

“When” it occurred

Sometime before now

Depending on your

Focus and recollection

It is happening “now”

If that memory is “stored”

Where is it stored

How come one cannot

Throw it out or delete it

How may it be retrieved

When it happened while

The earth was spinning

Hurling through space

Both at break neck speeds

Millions of miles ago?

The Puppet Show

Is everyone enjoying

The puppet show

Because that is what

You are watching

Yet, it seems so real

Audience members

Yelling at the 4th wall

Or transfixed immobile

By the sheer amount of

Digital distraction

Displayed in deceit

To keep one behaving

In reaction mode

Instead of spirit

That knows it is just

A puppet show

Individual sparks

Of the divine

Caught up in the

Deadly entertainment

Pulling emotional

Strings of doubt and fear

“I’ll show you politics in America.

Here it is, right here.

“I think the puppet on the right
Shares my beliefs.”

“I think the puppet on the left
Is more to my liking.”

“Hey, wait a minute,
There’s one guy…………

Holding out both puppets!”

Your government is in control.”

From a vague recollection of a meme…

American to a Russian:

What are you doing here in the United States?

Russian: We’ve come to study your propaganda.

American: Why, we don’t have propaganda here.

Russian: Exactly……..

Some Problems Are Fixed

To never ever be fixed

Even though they are fixable

But that is not where

The vested interest lies

It lies about solutions

Giving rise to dichotomy

For the sake thereof

To have something

That, although solvable

Such as immigration *

“Legal” or otherwise

Never gets solved

When it comes to an

Imaginary border

Through war requisition

Land “purchases”

(“Crazy Horse”

“We Hear what you say

One Earth, one Mother
One does not sell the Earth
The people walk upon

We are the land

How do we sell our Mother ?
How do we sell the stars ?
How do we sell the air ?”

– John Trudell )

Or alleged “holy” scriptures

On an interconnected

Spinning sphere in space

That all inhabitants belong to

Much like a Rubik’s cube

With many ways to get

To the same results

Those who can not solve it

Mess it up for those who can

Immigration is not a problem

It is how most people’s

Ancestors got where they are

To wherever they are now

From a primordial ooze

(Could be soup, but ooze sounds better)

In a Goldilocks Zone

For the life we know to emerge from a

Mother Earth that created us

It would be best to take care of her

Whilst we still can

“When the world was virgin
Before the coming of men
Just a solar witness

And a human race”

Spherical or flat

(Am trying to be inclusive even of the most likely wrong)

We are all of this earth, hurling through space

On our spaceship, ought not we figure out how

To best manage all our resources so we don’t ruin the ship

“What do we do? We say things that don’t make sense. Do you understand how stupid we sound on the news?

Is there anybody who even knows a little bit about our history, when we say things in America like, “I don’t mind immigration, but I do mind “illegal” immigration.

No, you don’t! We’re America. Every beautiful thing that we have in this country was built. …… illegally.

This is not me, saying this as a beaner. I’m saying this as an American, who accepts the reality of who we are.

White people, when you landed on Plymouth Rock….You did not have a visa.

Look, all the immigrants are laughing.

Look at all the white people. ….. That was a long time ago.”

Immigration is not a problem

“It is politically valuable to both sides.”

– Robin Quivers

Overpopulation is

The solution is education and abstinence

Or “Incentive Based Eugenics” – Doug Stanhope **

Which is not what the corporations want

They need uneducated consumers to buy stuff

Plus create more consumers to buy more stuff

That “unsolvable” problem creates gross profits

To have more employees to purchase more waste

Guns and bullets for the fearful of shadows

Flags and diapers (one in the same, really)

Small, medium, large and super-sized screens

To keep the easily distracted mesmerized

By the flashy light emitting distracting diodes

Telling them what to think and believe

For the indoctrinated resident immigrants

To watch repeat and regurgitate

What best suits their comfortable level of fear

In their perpetual protracted two minutes of hate

Since it is “okay” for “their” kind to

Immigrate from a different dimension

Think not. Why else are babies considered

As arrivals and welcomed by residents

Everybody everywhere is where they came from

Their mother earth and, is home all the time

Wherever they are, just in different rooms

In different conditions indifferent to their surroundings

I heard a senator on the news gleefully repeating

“We need more babies. We need more babies.”

In a creepy, non-sexual, but uneducated way

“We need more babies. We need more babies.”

In response to an abortion question, who I suspect

Would be more than ready to eliminate border crosser’s

Because “those” grown fetuses are unwanted. What?

Senate Republicans threaten to block border security bill they negotiated

The striking turn of events comes as Donald Trump tells the GOP to sink the bill, arguing that it could take the political heat off Democrats ahead of an expected rematch with Joe Biden.

– NBC News

By Sahil Kapur and Frank Thorp V

WASHINGTON — Within 48 hours of the release of a long-awaited immigration and foreign aid bill he had championed, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Republican conference rejected his pitch to support it, knifed the deal and left it for dead.

Just four Republicans voted for it. In the end, even McConnell backtracked and voted against the package that he had helped develop.

– NBC News

Oopsie

Side note

(Wouldn’t everyone like to know what 45 is blackmailing
The likes of McConnell, Graham, and Mike Johnson with?)

Just speculating, I have no proof……..oh wait here is one

“You know how you make America great again?” Graham asked in 2015. “Tell Donald Trump to go to hell.” Then, on the same day Trump essentially clinched the GOP nomination, the senator predicted, “If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed…….and we will deserve it.”

– thedailybeast

Now, Graham is just the lead bootlicker of the bootlicker base.

** Doug Stanhope continued………

“If I had any cause over the course of my career that I’ve bitched the most about, It’s overpopulation, which is the root of most of the other problems you care about.

//

The only solution that I’ve ever come up with, Which I think is great, but no one’s gotten on board, incentive-based eugenics.

Eugenics was a practice of sterilizing people. Hitler got a lot of the credit for it, but it was actually done in this country long before Hitler even knew who he was mad at. We were practicing eugenics in this country.

Eugenics was the practice of forced sterilization of undesirables, which sounds bad. And the way they did it was bad ’cause they would…

First of all, the force is wrong. You don’t force people to do things they don’t want to do. And, “b,” who decides who’s undesirable?”

(If Don is in charge, the only people left, will be wealthy white people and women who don’t report rape.)

“They were doing it in this country At the turn of the 20th century, Which is the 1900s, for a lot of my fans. Early 1900s. To criminals, perverts, which is way too vague, the mentally ill, mentally retarded, homosexuals, which makes perfect sense.

We don’t want them breeding.

//

But if you took away the force, And you just made it incentive-based for people willing to sterilize themselves. Offer up some white trash prizes. You know, Nascar pit pass, meet your favorite driver. All you’ve got to do is snip the sac. “Really?” Year’s supply of sunny delight. You want some sunny d, don’t you?

//

What do we got to do? “Are you telling me, if I cut off my balls, I’m going crossbow hunting with Ted Nugent?” Well, shit, yeah. “No. No, sir, sir, sir. Wait, no. “We don’t actually cut off your balls.

We just make a small incision with a local anesthetic.”

“F%@! you. I want you to cut off my whole balls. “I’m gonna hang them from my rear-view mirror “like a lucky rabbit’s foot. “I’m going crossbow hunting with the Nuge. I ain’t never won nothing in my life.”

That’s a workable plan. Can’t argue with that. It just won’t happen.”

– Doug Stanhope

In The Sanctuary

Of my sandbox

I get to play with words

Not made up of sand

Rather fluid thoughts

That manifest quickly

Seemingly out of

Nowhere now here

Triggered sometimes

By an errant comment

Inherently contradictory

From its intention

Of its stated purpose

Pro-lifers for the death penalty

(If they don’t live now, can’t kill them later)

Pro-Choice people against the death penalty

(If they make it out of the womb

Then we’ll try and save them)

“Patriots” hating their government

(I’ll let that sink in…….people who love

Their government, want to change it)

Gun owners against nuclear weapons

(We can have our toys, but they can’t have theirs)

Animal Rights Advocates

Marching in leather shoes

(Because they are comfortable and stylish)

People for religious freedom

Wishing to eradicate other religions

So they are not encumbered

By questioning their own beliefs

(Where is the freedom in that? )

Then, with all those grains of sand (words)

I try to sculpt castles of thoughts to present

My most ardent supporters or passersby

Thought sculptures, only to re-arrange them

Later or surely again in a different form

Mostly for myself tweaking a grain placement

Here and there, or content in the right context

So that I might understand the world better

Outside of the safety and sanity of my sanctuary

Inevitably recalling a lyric or a comedian’s bit to help the post

“Do you have your own words? Hey, I’m using the ones everyone else has been using!

Next time they tell you to say something in your own words, say “Niq fluk bwarney quando floo!”

– George Carlin

Then, close it out with an (hopefully) appropriate closer

Only wish to be understood. “

Misconception

: a wrong or inaccurate idea or conception

– M-W.com

One may think

That a dictionary

Defines words

Which is nary the case

It is not until the reader

Reads the definition

Interprets its brief

Worded description

To put it in a context

In their individual mind

Which is so

“Subjective”

“3a: characteristic of or belonging
to reality as perceived rather
than as independent of mind”

– M-W.com

For example,

Not an objective reality

To be solely satisfied

That it means what best

Suits their context to

Apply to their content

Only to be read or heard

By anyone else and mean

Something completely

Different than intended

“It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is. If the—if he—if ‘is’ means is and never has been, that is not—that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement.…”

-Bill Clinton

“Bill Clinton really is a guy who’s willing to think carefully about “what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.” This is way beyond slick. Perhaps we should start calling him, “Existential Willie.”

—Timothy Noah of “Slate”

Meanwhile, returning to our current chaos

Many, if not most, “gun” owners, or is that

Owners of guns, which, if you think about it

The “owners” are actually “possessed” by the gun

By a way of genitalia extension perception

Ignoring that their would be dictator (I mean president)

Said, “Take the guns first, go through due process second.”

Ooopsie

Donald Trump has indicated his support for confiscating firearms from certain dangerous people even if it violates their legal rights, in comments guaranteed to enrage a large section of his support.

In remarks almost unthinkable for a modern Republican president, he told senators at the White House to discuss general school safety: “Take the firearms first and then go to court.

“I like taking the guns early, like in the crazy man’s case… take the guns first, go through due process second.”

– the-independent.com

That is not even a verbal slight of hand

Like wiggling around with what the definition of “is” is

It is his opinion of how to solve a problem

“Take the guns first, go through due process second.”
“Take the guns first, go through due process second.”
“Take the guns first, go through due process second.”

I am guessing then that the Donald would
Get to decide who is “dangerous” and who is “crazy”

“And I’m not against guns. I’m not one of those mindless Hollywood c*cksuckers. I’m not against guns, I’m not against bullets. I’m not even against people shooting each other. sh*t, shooting somebody is part of the American dream.

I don’t care who it is; parents, teachers, kids. f*ck ’em. Let ’em get shot. Doesn’t bother me.

– George Carlin

My problem is that I am infinitely amazed
That people want, what they say they
They do not want, or is that just my

Misconception

Humanity Needs A Mascot

Like Iron Maiden’s “Eddie”

According to Bruce Dickinson

In his book

“What Does This Button Do?”

(Am paraphrasing since I

Listened to the audio book)

What keeps the band together

Through petty squabbles and

Major riffs (guitar pun, mine)

What carries them forward

Through tough times is “Eddie”

Their macabre metal mascot

Being a greater purpose to

In the end, always getting along

As a combined unit of unity

With slight variations and a few deaths

“Eddie” is greater than the sum of their parts

Same could work for humanity

Not the invisible one that already

Has eight billion interpretations

Which causes so much death because

Everyone has a different perspective

That their version is the best and if

Only all, could be guided “their’s”

Everything would be hunky dory

For the briefest moment

“A moment is coming. Almost here. Its getting closer… any moment now, almost here aaaaaaand now its gone.”

– George Carlin

Literally, for the briefest moment

The photograph of the earth itself

Dawned a realization, this is our home

That we ought to care of it and

Each other born of its Gaia consciousness

But unlike “Eddie,” that image did not adapt

To new evolving phases (albums)

Seventeen in nearly fifty years

Each member, either side of 70 years old

The image stayed the same

So the inhabitants got bored quickly

Discarded the image through apathy

Although now, when viewed again

The overpopulated metro areas

Look like a cancer growth on its host

“Southwick in his Chapter 15 excerpt Human Populations introduces a very interesting analogy between the human population and cancer cells.”

“Other scientists consider human population growth ‘an ecopathological process’ that is out of control and injuring the earth.  In this sense, such population growth in some parts of the world is carcinogenic, a ‘cancer-like growth’ with the potential of destroying the global ecosystem.”

http://fubini.swarthmore.edu/~ENVS2/S2010/mahn1/overpopulation.html

Where can we find that “Eddie” like mascot to help us evolve and grow whilst still getting along without fighting over the mascot?
