Strange proof of Faith
Mattresses on the freeway.
Huh?
While living in Los Angeles, at least once a month, you would hear of a traffic jam on the freeway due to a mattress blocking traffic.
Must be the optimism of the human spirit that can loosely tie a 200 pound 6 foot by 8 foot rectangle bouncy marshmallow to the top of a car, with the fervent hope that it will make whatever distance it needs to travel to arrive at the destination intact.
Because you know, no one leaves Point A heading to Point B, without thinking that it will not make it, regardless of how poorly it is tied, or how bad the car shape is, to think that it will not stay for the ride. Otherwise they would have tied it better or rented a truck.
That my friends, is faith inaction.
