Caution : Words in use

September 5, 2017

I love words and I loathe words

They are the justification and the denial

Put together in sequence or chaos

Makes no difference

Context, becomes perception

Based on interpretation

Of what is known

Or unknown

Which is nothing

Certainly in

Aeons of “time”

Nothing

A speck of

A speck

In infinity

Hurts don’t last

Only love does

Alterations have

The permanence

Of change

For better

Or worse

No one

Knows

The tiniest

Of specks

Is me

I am nothing

In the void

Of voids

Abysmal

In the abyss

I’m guilty too

Under odd

Self diagnosis

I suspect

That is

My compulsion

To write this out

Thinking

I can eradicate

The emasculated

Feelings, that

Dwell within

Thinking that

If I

Fix the external

I can

Heal the internal

Knowing in

The eternal

Nary will it

Make a difference

The words we use

The silent voice that cries out.

What we accept as acceptable is based on the words we use to describe things.

Circumcision sounds like a medical procedure performed on a contusion.

Or a question you might hear in a garage.

Where did that darn little circumcision go?

On the other hand, genital mutilation sounds like a prehistoric sadistic ritual human deformation, partial castration, ceremoniously and not so ceremoniously performed, biologically unwarranted and cruelly inflicted sacrifice, because of biblically based tribe identifiers in “proving” who is a believer or not, to a man made invisible deity that although is “all knowing” needs to see foreskin removed to “know”.

Oops,  been listening to “The bible in 90 days”. Which is taking a lot longer, due to the scaffolding it takes to suspend disbelief. That is another story for another time.

If it was necessary,  it would be observed in other mammals.

And what are they gonna think when they find out, its just a local custom, that over 80 million women in the Third world have had their clitorises FORCIBLY removed in order to reduce their sexual pleasure so they won’t cheat on their husbands? Can’t you just sense how eager the rest of the universe is for us to show up?

Somehow a similar mutilation performed on males, in this country is okay?? Because of religion and an irrational societal pressure to “look” the same. Justified, because collectively, we are so afraid of our bodies most everyone goes along to get along.  If you can teach a kid to wash behind his ears and brush his teeth, you can teach him how to clean his privates.

Recently, heard this discussed on the “Howard Stern” Show.

Cognitive dissonance was riding high. Since a transcript is unavailable, my perception is that the general agreement is that it is unnecessary. With Robin citing that Europe has systematically stopped this practice. Still, the artificial need to conform seemed to win (lose) out over logical rationality. That is the epic fail.

I have such a tiny small itsy bitsy perspective of the whole puzzle to even write anything about it is useless. However, me thinks it is a root cause to at least some of society’s ills.

My cowardice to never be confronted with making that choice for a bipedal earthling artist was to not create one in the first place.

“If you choose not to decide

You still have made a choice”

– “Freewill”  by Rush

Who knows where and how we would be, as an apparent container of consciousness if we only made use of that utility within.

That’s why my girlfriend and I broke up: she wanted kids, and I … well, she wanted kids. [laughs]

//

She goes, “Wouldn’t it be nice to have a kid? To have this fresh, clean slate which we could fill. A little clean spirit, innocent, and to fill it with good ideas.”

Yeah, yeah, how about this? If you’re so fucking altruistic, why don’t you leave the little clean spirit wherever it is right now?

I would never bring a kid to this fucking planet…

“Eve Of Destruction”

– Barry McGuire

The eastern world it is exploding
Violence flarin’, bullets loadin’
You’re old enough to kill but not for votin’
You don’t believe in war but whats that gun you’re totin’?
And even the Jordan River has bodies floatin’

But you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don’t believe
We’re on the eve of destruction

Don’t you understand what I’m tryin’ to say
Can’t you feel the fears I’m feelin’ today?
If the button is pushed, there’s no runnin’ away
There’ll be no one to save with the world in a grave
Take a look around you boy, it’s bound to scare you boy

And you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don’t believe
We’re on the eve of destruction

Yeah my blood’s so mad feels like coagulating
I’m sitting here just contemplatin’
I can’t twist the truth it knows no regulation
Handful of senators don’t pass legislation
And marches alone can’t bring integration
When human respect is disintegratin’
This whole crazy world is just too frustratin’

And you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don’t believe
We’re on the eve of destruction

Think of all the hate there is in Red China (North Korea)
Then take a look around to Selma, Alabama (Washington DC )
You may leave here for four days in space(or golf arrogantly at your own place)
But when you return it’s the same old place
The pounding of the drums, the pride and disgrace
You can bury your dead but don’t leave a trace
Hate your next door neighbor but don’t forget to say grace

And tell me
Over and over and over and over again my friend
You don’t believe
We’re on the eve of destruction
Mmm, no, no, you don’t believe
We’re on the eve of destruction
