Of Course
Laura Ingraham
And # 45
Do not understand why
NFL Players “take a knee”
There is no “state” paid
Group of people who’s
Main job it is to
“Protect and to serve”
All the people in the
Community regardless
From which a smaller
Faction of that group
Who’s job it is also to
“Protect and to serve”
Take it upon themselves
To discriminate against
A disproportionate number of
Earthlings with ebony epidermis
Because it goes mostly unpunished
And arbitrarily do not do it to
Well to do wealthy whites
Based on their pink pigmentation
To murder and maim them solely
Based on their pink pigmentation
If in the unlikely event that
Were to occur, you can bet
That they would appreciate it
If NHL players “took a knee”
During the National Anthem
To bring attention to their plight
So, before they might be randomly
Harmed in the wrong place and time
The awareness would be raised
Hoping to garner enough attention
That it might be systematically stopped
As “that” discrimination would be “unfair”
Time to put on an
Old pair of shoes
Somebody else’s
And walk their mile
Better yet, get in touch with
That WWJD contemplation
If Jesus would do similar
Before rambling racist rants.
.
I like your Christ,
I do not like your Christians.
Your Christians are so
Unlike your Christ.
(Recently observed bumper sticker).
.
“My ayyya, temple should be eea
A house of prayer
But you have made it
A den of thieves”
(walled in with racism, mysogeny, xenophobia, deception and distraction.)

“Jesus Christ Super Star”
.
So instead of Ingraham, Hannity, Carlson, the Donald, all the Faux Friends and their unenlightened minions working towards a solution.
They opt to double down on ignorance, shift the focus on disparaging the military, which “taking a knee” has absolutely nothing to do with it.
So they can pit human beings against each for their own sadistic pleasure or a distraction from their shenanigans.
.
“In youth sports, players take a knee when another player is hurt. It is an acknowledgment of the vulnerable humanity that, for the moment, has been obscured by the intense competition of the game. Taking a knee in that context is, like a religious genuflection, a gesture of self-surrender before the greater reality of human suffering.
//
Likewise, when black players take a knee during the national anthem to protest police violence against African-Americans, they are making a gesture of pain and distress.
They are putting America in a more honest context — our “Star-Spangled Banner” dimly seen through the mists of deep injury. It is like flying an American flag upside down in a moment of emergency.”

“We should just make it a little bit more difficult for people with known violent tendencies to be able to get a gun.
And I’m not talking about the cops. No. Not talking about the cops.
I’m saying, let’s make it a little bit more difficult for mentally unstable people with known violent tendencies to be able to get a gun.
And again, I’m not talking about the cops.
If you can go on their Facebook page and see that this guy is a virulent racist, right?
Make it a little more difficult for virulent racists, who are mentally unstable with known violent tendencies to be able to get–
And again, I’m not talking about the cops.
.
I think we can all agree that Blue Lives Murder.
Now… Not all of them, not most of them,
But a bunch of em, murder. [scoffs]
They’re murdering us.
Well, not us. We’re white, but….
You know who doesn’t like that bit?
Cops.
They don’t like it. They don’t like it. And I think its important — I’m being sincere.
I think its important that we acknowledge, all of us, that there are plenty of good, decent, ethical, very brave cops, who put their lives on the line every day, and they don’t appreciate being painted with this broad brush as being violent predators just because of the actions of a minority of their brothers.
They don’t like being stereotyped so that when you see blue, you just think “Oh, violent thug.” They don’t appreciate it.”
