Protecting Your Freedom

The needle has long since

Worn out the vinyl groove

On that broken record cliche

Not so you would notice

As authority keeps playing it

To the deaf and to the right

Seemingly one in the same

Three sequenced words

Over and over again like a

Mindless mantra manipulating

The masses into malleable mush

Ironically giving up individual

Ones to the collective none

Why? Because it sounds good

Protecting freedom…..WOW whee!

That would be no small task

Just not sure how protecting your freedom can get accomplished with weaponry, blood spilt or camera’s monitoring and no action taken.

Just an observation, maybe I need different glasses.
