Life Paradoxes
The only thing
Keeping me alive
Is that I have
Nothing to live for
As in an implausible
Heaven which
Doesn’t exist
Save in the mind
Or
The one thing
Keeping me alive
Is that I have
Nothing to die for
As in an implausible
Heaven which
Doesn’t exist
Save in the mind
Deep s@&t
Where this should have stopped.
Nope…..
Living as long as possible
For either death by decay
“As soon as you’re born
You are dying”
– Iron Maiden
Or death by expedition
By one’s own hands and
Will, freewill or won’t will
One way or the other
There is a knowing
That there is no end
Just by following a
Process of elimination
Pondering possibilities
There is no death
Rather only transference
Through dimensions
After all that is how
You came into being
On this plane as it were
Why else would it be
Referred to as a child
Being a new arrival
Hmmmmmmmmm?
Likewise when you
Become dead, you are
Now the departed
If it were a “matter” *
Of only being a seed
Planted in a garden
That “matter”
Is already here
Manifesting a vehicle
For the soul to travel
Around in this dimension
At this temporary moment
To live life
To its fullest
Or its diminishment
Either way
The choice is yours
Or mine or whatever
“We teach best what we need to learn most ourselves.”
– Richard Bach
“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”
– Angelo Devlin
*
There is no matter
Only the perception of
Observing interchangeable
Waves and particles
Interchanging as
Waves and particles
In an endless flow of
Energy altering between
Kinetic and stored
For our amusement
Never control
Just entertainment
“It’s just a ride”
– Bill Hicks
