Gunning Down

January 10, 2022

(Like a child in a
Societal system
That only encourages
The saving of fetuses
To be birthed as
Consumer fodder
To unwitting parents
Without regards to
A soul’s divinity or
Personal responsibility

This post………nearly
Fell through the cracks)

Gunning Down

The population
Several students
At a time as if they are
Sovereign citizens
Standing over a
Valuable resource
To be stolen by
Crude corporations
Making unnecessary
Death……
Acceptable

As school shootings
Being so commonplace
They have become
Less interesting than
High speed car chases

Guns don’t kill people

Parents who buy
Their children guns
Kill other children

Wonder if Jennifer
and James Crumbley
Are “pro-life”

(I’m guessing…….sort of)
(At the least……pro-narcissist)

Think also that they
Were each so self
Absorbed in their own
Unconscious lives

They bought their son
A stay at home
Do-it-yourself
Self abortion kit

Which instead got used
As a show-and-tell
Take to school random
Post natal abortion tool

“The defendants had information long before Nov. 30 (six months prior to the shooting) that their son’s only friend moved at the end of October, that the family dog died, that their son was sadder than usual, and that he was sending his mother disturbing texts about his state of mind,” the prosecution wrote in a Thursday court filing. “Instead of paying attention to their son and getting him help, they bought him a gun.”

– Detroit Free Press

Maybe politicians are so well greased
From the sweaty palms of the NRA
The blood on their hands does not stick

As somewhere in the back of
Their empty heads they can justify
Doing nothing to curb the violence
Placating the proletariat of their “rights”
To “defend” property and “free-dumb”

Though their constituents children
Are slaughtered like fish in a barrel as
Potential corpses in a classroom

While I may not have been
That sad or self destructive
In my teenage years at least
My parents were aware enough
(Semi-comatose conscious)
Not to have a hand held
Weapon of mass destruction
Anywhere in my presence

With an absolutely clear and
Definitively innuendoed message
Not to reproduce the likes of me

They knew just enough that a child
Was to be seen and not to be heard/herd

“Just an observation, Maybe I need
Different glasses.”

– Angelo Devlin

Too soon?????

“Jeremy”

At home
Drawing pictures
Of mountain tops
With him on top
Lemon yellow sun
Arms raised in a V
And the dead lay
In pools of maroon below

Daddy didn’t give attention
Oh, to the fact that mommy didn’t care
King Jeremy The Wicked
Ruled his world

Jeremy spoke in class today
Jeremy spoke in class today

Clearly I remember
Pickin’ on the boy
Seemed a harmless little fuck
But we unleashed a lion
Gnashed his teeth
And bit the recess lady’s breast

How could I forget
And he hit me with a surprise left
My jaw left hurting
Dropped wide open
Just like the day
Oh, like the day I heard

Daddy didn’t give affection, no!
And the boy was something that mommy wouldn’t wear
King Jeremy The Wicked
Ruled his world

Jeremy spoke in class today
Jeremy spoke in class today
Jeremy spoke in class today

Try to forget this (try to forget this)
Try to erase this (try to erase this)
From the blackboard

Jeremy spoke in class today
Jeremy spoke in class today
Jeremy spoke in, spoke in
Jeremy spoke in, spoke in
Jeremy spoke in class today

(spoke in) (spoke in)
(spoke in) (spoke in)
(spoke in) (spoke in)
