Talking Heads Only
Speaking by rote and recitation
Prompted by a teleprompter
Out of the same mouths
That say we don’t need guns
Also say… we need those guns
Just for a “different” purpose
That automatic rifles are ok
As long as they are in the hands
Of military personnel as
Weapons of war for war
You know….so the state can
Decide which people it is ok to kill
Usually ones with cheap resources
Under their feet for corporations
Is anyone seeing a pattern here
Or at least blatant hypocrisy
“I don’t take very seriously, the media or the press in this country, who in the case of the Persian Gulf war were nothing more than unpaid employees of the Department of Defense, and who most of the time, most of the time functioned as kind of an unofficial public relations agency for the United States government.”
– George Carlin
TH: Thank you (random “expert”) for joining us on this sad day (said with a smile). What is your useless opinion on this tragedy.
RE: Your welcome TH, this is the thirtieth mass shooting I’ve researched and I’ve compiled a list of things the children can do to stay alive. Short of showing up in full body armor. Blah blah blah…
TH: Yes, that’s quite a list, wouldn’t it be better, if these guns weren’t so easily available?
And only used for the military since that is what they were designed and built for? Blah blah blah…
And the talking heads…
Say it with a straight face
#uck, I could read a teleprompter
But would get fired for giggling
For whoever made that $hit up
Of the deceptive dichotomy
Same goes for their faux concern
By the next day of broadcasting
That immediately “the latest community”
Has to start “healing”….you know…..
So they can get “past” “this,” tragedy
EXCUSE ME Excuuuuse meeeeee
Could they maybe run down to
Each senator’s office and get an
Accounting of how much money
The NRA is paying these bought
Personally paid profit puppets
So deadly devoid of humanity
To keep the gun “enthusiasts”
Stirred to a fearful frenzy so an
Artificial demand can jack up the prices
Of something not needed in the first place
Proliferating so fast nobody knows
Who has which for what or for how long
“As long as you have a valid, government-issued photo ID and the finances necessary to acquire the vehicle, you can legally buy a car. However, without a driver’s license and insurance, you cannot legally drive a car.”
– jdpower.com
Oopsie
Apparently money can wash and keep
Dead children’s blood of of hands, as
Long as they can dye/die the red flag of
Second amendment out of touch rights
“Personally folks, I believe that if your rights came from God, he would’ve given you the right for some food every day, and he would’ve given you the right to a roof over your head. GOD would’ve been looking out for ya. You know that.
He wouldn’t have been worried making sure you have a gun so you can get drunk on Sunday night and kill your girlfriend’s parents..”
– George Carlin
How about 28th amendment rights
Children ought have the same right
To learn theoretical math problems
Without making their own up, that if
30 students enter school at 8 a.m.
How many will survive by 3:00 p.m.
“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”
– Angelo Devlin
“If
30 students enter school at 8 a.m.
How many will survive by 3:00 p.m.”
Devastating… Exactly. How can we be okay to keep asking that question??
But “we the people” did nothing after Sandy Hook. We became okay with young men shooting their mothers and then slaughtering little children. But “we the people” started out this country doing that to the people who already lived in this land, so i guess it’s just part of the hazing.
Is it cynical to imagine that if some unloved dude gunned down a gaggle of rich men then somehow the gun law would change? But they’d never be the targets, would they?
