No Separation
Between you
And your enemies
Between you
And your friends
Between you ……. and
The government you have
And the government you want
The wars in the world
And the peace you desire
No separation between
Earth and Sky
Land and water
Thoughts and consciousness
Dark and light, like
On a yin-yang symbol ☯️
No separation either from
The circle and the border
No separation from
The screen to your eyes
The light traveled through
That invisible connection
Making no separation
Between waves and particles
Likewise, there is no separation
Between you and your device
A cell phone tower or between
The tower and a satellite
There is no separation between when
You started reading this post
Till right now, and the rest of it
(Should you decide to continue ; )
Nor an event that recently happened
Or plans to do something next week
Bringing contemplation to
Its revolving conclusion is that there is
No separation between your birth and death
Nor between this incarnation and the next
Or the previous one for that matter
I think I’ll keep going
No separation between
The rubber and the road
The windshield and the bug
The earth, moon, and the stars
This galaxy and the other galaxies
Never mind, you get the picture
Inspired by listening to an audio book
Of which, I am only a few chapters in of
“Three Magic Words” by
Uuell S. Anderson
Giving linguistic credence to the
Bill Hicks notion that
“It is only our illusion that we are separate from God,
or that we are alone…
…in fact, the reality is,
we are one with God, and (Word*) loves us.”
*
“The Word already existed.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:1
“Now, if that isn’t a hazard to this country…
Do you see my point?”
How are we gonna keep building nuclear weapons, you know what I mean?
What’s gonna happen to the arms industry when we realize we’re all one?
It’s gonna fuck up the economy.
The economy that’s fake anyway.
Which would be a real bummer, you know. You can see why the government’s cracking down…
…on the idea of experiencing unconditional love.”
– Bill Hicks
Likewise……
“There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.”
Bill Hicks
“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”
– Angelo Devlin
