That slogan gives the impression that some gun owners always have a gun in their hand. Just waiting for a tap on the shoulder, or a knock on the door so they can blast away whoever might even look at their gun with a suspicious eye.
Oroboriously feeding an irrational paranoia via words that will simply never come to fruition.
All “authority” has to do is sit back and watch the show of the people killing each other without lifting a finger because of the proliferation of guns.
The tyrannical power of the government is not through weaponry it is through mental manipulation, put away you guns and think.

If we really wanted to balance the scales, we could just not buy so much.
Oops, can’t do that, the economy would collapse and we might evolve. Therefore all we will have to do is modify, ignore or abolish this country’s child labor laws.
Which could inadvertently solve another problem. Without schools, there would be more school shootings.

Before writing these posts (Which, started in one direction, it had actually taken a political turn, but ended up here.) I only barely had a vague idea of why Jesus was crucified, except it is a dramatic scene in Jesus Christ Superstar.
After Googling it, I am even more confused. Perhaps I am just getting hung up on the language used. Words like “according”. According to “x”, Jesus was crucified for eating with tax collectors and thieves. (One in the same, essentially)
“Biblically attributed”, boils down to according to a book, which was not written, anywhere near the time it occurred rather years later after being aurally passed down “telephone game” style.
Also, that it was originally written in at least three different languages Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek . Darn that tower of Babel incident. Any chance that some of those “facts”, were lost in translation?

In some artificial quantification of pretending to be informed in this alleged democracy, I find myself scanning the news stations (mostly satellite radio) for information.
Only to find my soul scathed from the transmitted toxicity of deceptive diatribes of putrid political pontificators and prognostications using surreptitious speculation liquidating loose language to mold a malignant maelstrom of malice.
Taking information in from three perspectives, CNN, FOX, MSNBC like incorporating, being the three blind guys trying to describe the elephant to myself hoping to “see” what it is and what is going on.
Finding that if “facts” are reported, there is so much post spin on those “facts” anything substantial that could have been gleened, is lost in the blur.
Leaving me feeling, icky, at best.
Nauseated to the point where I would probably lose less brain cells if I were drinking.
Now, they are simply opining an agenda that is based purely on deception and manipulation of information to create an outcome that best suits their needs.
Which, if you follow news cycles, regardless the source, their sponsorship is based on the consumption of tangibles and intangibles.
For example, mattresses, what is promoted is, a better nights sleep. The intangible (there seems to be a growing list of mattress makers whose product will do everything, but make love to you and cook you breakfast).
All for that better night’s sleep. Which one could probably get if not for listening and watching talking heads catastrophizing every minute detail about an ineffectual and deceptive corrupt political system.
