It Just Is …….. Theory

The Anti -Theory to the Big Bang Theory

Am I a scientist?   No.

Am I a spiritualist?   No.

Am I a bi-pedal oxygen breathing, monoxide exhaling, red-blooded, skeleton supported, solar powered, carbon-based, gray matter thought reflector, earth inhabitant omnivore with a CDL?    Yes.

A conceptual content and context hoarder. Someone who can take a “Ziggy” type quote like “Happiness is a clean windshield” and extrapolate it into the meaning of life.

Happiness is a clean windshield being the metaphor of being at peace because one’s view of the world has all the clarity of a precious diamond. While nestled comfortably in the mechanical womb like tractor cab, surrounded by the nutritious accoutrements of light, sound and heat, with the ability to accelerate, signal, navigate, maneuver and stop on a dime.

Manifesting a poverty of knowledge just above the destitute line, of the wherewithal needed to draw such bizarre conclusions.

Listening to Stephen Hawkings book  “A Brief History of Time” find it fascinating for at least a couple of reasons, that the “big bang theory” is given any credence at all as a plausible explanation of the infinite cosmos.

Or the notion that the universe is expanding, as if somehow from this little blue green ball floating around the sun which is 90+ million miles away, in an off center band of the Milky Way.  One of 100 Billion planets and stars in one of another 100 to 200 Billion galaxies.

Sounds a tad arrogant, for given its infinite size isn’t just contracting in a different direction, that can’t possibly be known about.

Frighteningly arrogant while attending a science conference in Rome,  the Vatican opts to instruct the attendees not to look beyond the Big Bang Theory as that “resembles” the story of creation.

The worst arrogance of all, is the conceit and hopefulness of the author of this post to merely suggest that what is, is, has been, and always will be.

Regardless of what man made “proof” is doled out to give the illusion of control, that it might feel better about itself.

“Space is the most taken for granted thing ever. You know how crazy it is that it’s above you, every day and never comes up.

If we all lived underground or indoors, there was only one place in the whole world……where you can see space, you know how popular that *** would be?

Everybody would travel to see space. You just stand there and hold hands and look up and go: “There’s no ceiling, it’s *** incre… It’s mindblowing!”

But instead it’s there everyday like: “Oh look the Big Dipper, I should go.”

People travel to see the *** Grand Canyon.”Hey dude, you’ve got to go to the Grand Canyon man, dude it changed my life man””

I stood up there and saw that canyon, it was so immense……i just realised how small my role in the universe really is.””

Oh, really? Wow! Hey, how about all that ***?””(Joe Rogan points up) What the *** are you talking about? Those aren’t light bulbs mother ***!””

Those are huge nuclear explosions billions of miles away……and it goes on forever. Do you know what forever means?””

It means this whole universe of hundreds of billions of galaxies……might just be a part of one atom……it’s in the cell of the balls of one guy who lives in another universe……it’s part of one atom, that’s a cell of a ball and a guy……and it goes on and on and on FOREVER!!!””

And there is no *** end! And you are looking at a ditch. You just drove six hours to look at a ditch, you are a *** dummy.””

You can see the bottom, why is that even interesting to you?””Oh yeah, yeah, you are small, it’s big.

“Space is some *** crazy ***!”

“Infinity is so big, that everything that has ever happened, on earth in the exact same order, down to………. that … pause has happened an infinite number of times, all through out the universe.

Everywhere in space, there is a you, making the same colossal f**king errors, that you’ve made your entire life.

So if anybody ever tells you, you can do better. Go, apparently not.”

That’s infinity.”

“I think we’re part of a greater wisdom than we’ll ever understand, a higher order, call it what you want. You know what I call it?

The Big Electron.

The Big Electron. Woooohhhh, woooohhhh, woooohhhh.

It doesn’t punish, it doesn’t reward, it doesn’t judge at all.

It just is, and so are we, for a little while.”

George Carlin

Thanks George

Am fortunate, on occasion to pull over on top of a summit at night on cloudless nights to observe that “truth”.  For a “moment” or two.

Before climbing back in the tractor to be “Looking at the world, through a windshield”

Feeling and knowing the significance of my insignificance.
